List of Sewell - Four Plaza Drive's Reviews
I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with twins, also my very first pregnancy. I’ve been coming here the entire time. Half the time when the nurses take me back, they straight up tell me they haven’t even looked at my chart. My first prenatal appointment, Dr. Chen only checked one baby’s heartbeat. When the nurse was helping me check out, she asked the doctor (in front of me) about an anatomy scan for the twins. His jaw dropped and said, “Twins?” Proceeded to look at me and said then asked, “Did we know about this?” Honestly, that should have been enough of a red flag for me to switch doctors. But I’m a clueless first timer. Every appointment, I see a new doctor. No one ever seems to have any idea what is going on at any of my appointments. My last appointment, yesterday, I told them I’m having severe pressure, cramping/contractions, etc. Because of that, they tested me for an infection and checked my cervix. I’m 2-3cm dilated. I asked about when I should expect us to schedule the twins’ c-section, I was told 3 weeks. After not being able to sleep last night I decided to check my after summary notes for the very first time. “Offers no complaints. Denies cramping, VB, and leaking fluid of the vagina.” I did complain. I did say I had cramping. No one asked about leaking fluid. And nothing noted about my dilation. But I see a different doctor in their office in 3 days for my next appointment, whom I’ve never met, and I’m assuming she’s going to look at my chart. Not really guaranteed around here though. Yet my charts say the complete opposite of what actually occurred in my appointment. And I’m supposed to trust these people to deliver my children? I feel so defeated coming here because clearly no one is listening to me when I talk.
Great first experience!
My wife had an appointment at this office but was left in the exam room for an HOUR. No doctor came in. No nurse came in to check on her or to explain the delay or offer to reschedule. It’s unacceptable to leave patients waiting alone for an hour, especially if they drove there from far away. Obviously, the staff at this office doesn’t care about their patients. We will never go there again. Thanks for nothing.
The Drs are great unfortunately they are either over booked or understaffed. Every single time I am here I have to wait for over a hour. Also they have medical students that make the appointments even longer. After you have been waiting for over a hour the medical student comes in and by that time I’m already aggravated and annoyed. People have work and kids they have to find babysitters for. Just to get to the office on time is a struggle only to sit and wait for well over a hour. I only actually see the Dr for a total of 5-10 minutes tops but 1/2 the day is over by the time you get out of the office. It’s really frustrating especially when your pregnant and have to come every week.
I saw Maryann Campbell this week. I was visibly upset and emotional as I have been having problems for months now. I was looking forward to getting some answers at my visit. Instead, she was rude from the minute she stepped into the office. She basically laughed in my face when I told her about the debilitating pain I experience every month and very sarcastically goes, “yea, cramps!” Needless to say I have found a new obgyn and will never step foot in that office again. Shame on you #cooperobgyn!
I have been going to Cooper for years. My first bad experience was about a year ago when I had major complications with my copper IUD for 3 years and the doctor straight up refused to take it out. Flash forward to today, I find out amazing news, I'm pregnant(after being told I could have trouble due to iud complications. I called to book an appointment not only was the nurse I spoke to unprofessional (like right off the bat) she wouldn't be able to book me an appointment for 2 1/2 months. Pregnant women need care from the start not 4 months into their pregnancy. They obviously don't have enough availability or staff to care for all their patients properly as I also have booking problems with their pediatrics office. This experience today has made me never want to visit another Cooper establishment again. Very rude and unprofessional do better Cooper.
Dr. Merchant is absolutely lovely. Very patient, takes the time to explain your options, informs you of everything during exam/procedure, and is gentle. I also find her to have a cute sense of humor. Would recommend.
The front desk receptionist was very nice and polite. But Dr Bruckler was a true gem! Very understanding and compassionate....
Great Dr. Dr Thomas Mirsen. Neurologist the best.
I have been going here for years, and I love my Dr. I haven’t had any issues with this place, except maybe the wait. It usually takes a little while to be seen.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
