Wonderful doctor, great hands, always positive experience. Highly recommend to all my friends.
Saw him for a liquid rhinoplasty. This was definitely not my first time getting injectables, my usual doctor does not do the liquid rhino so I decided to go with Dr. Ovcvinsky. He was cold, dismissive, uninterested and brief. I was sat in a room and a woman came in to apply the numbing cream, I told her I’d like to see the doctor first to hear what he has to say and if I’m a good candidate for this procedure. She replied “if you don’t do it we’ll just take it off”, 30 mins later the doctor came in, was eager to perform the procedure and seemingly uninterested in my questions or concerns (as I know there are more intricate risks to injecting in the nose). He did not need to use the full needle on my nose so I proposed to put the rest in my chin - (where I regularly get filler) he injected a golf ball on top of my chin instead of on the lower part to make it longer and sleeker. I now must fix this with my doctor. Definitely do not recommend.

I searched for weeks until I found photos of results that I liked, and I definitely made the right choice. I'm so happy with my nose. I could finally breathe, and it looks so much better. From the doctor to the staff, it was such a pleasant experience. I don't have insurance so I paid cash, but it his price beat everyone else by a mile. Thank you to everyone at the short hills office. I'll post some pics in a few
I just wanna say thank you to the staff for being so nice and attentive ,you ladies are awesome ! Also Dr. Ovchinsky was amazing , best of the best . He not only makes you feel comfortable, he explains everything throughly ! I honestly can’t wait to book my next appointment ! He made sure that my nose balanced out the rest of my face while still lifting my tip and giving me a beautiful straight bridge . I can’t thank you enough ! You fixed my biggest insecurity ! ❤️
Front desk associate was very rude. I had a concern about filler that was put in under my eyes… I would continuously get random swelling where the filler was put in. Today I woke up with the worst pain and swelling since I had the procedure done. I finally called to complain about the problem the woman whom I was speaking to was trying to tell me I waited too long to complain and that they would have to charge me in order for doctor to see me. Her demeanor was also not helpful as she had no compassion seemed not to care after I told her I had been having this problem for a long time and I was in pain today. She had the nerve to tell me if I had called before it would be a different “scenario” which is not even a helpful comment for a patient who is already in pain. If filler is not put in correctly this random swelling can occur, if the doctor has to charge to see the patient, then he doesn’t care about what mistake he could have done. And the front desk associates should be kinder to OLD patients! I was coming here since 2016 and will simply never go back. In the picture provided you can clearly see how one side of my face is extremely swollen…. Be careful who you let put the filler in! This office won’t care if they make a mistake or have a patient in pain.!!!! In the picture I provided you can clearly see the swelling. This isn’t normal swelling post procedure either it’s already been over 6 months I can’t wait to get this dissolved. Horrible work.
A few years ago my daughter went to Dr. Ovchinsky to discuss a Rhinoplasty procedure. She was talked into leaving a deposit of $1,500.00 and rushed into scheduling the surgery that she didn’t need. A few weeks later she cancelled because she didn’t have the $10,000 for the a la carte costs of the procedure. She called them last week to see if she could see Dr. Ovchinsky who is also an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist to look at a lump that she had on the right lateral nasal bone. As he examined it, he immediately dismissed the lump and said it was just a cyst that he could remove when he does the Rhinoplasty. She wasn’t there to talk about the Rhinoplasty so this really turned her off. Then to add insult to injury his Office Manager pulled her into a room to discuss their newly increased costs. My daughter sought a 2nd opinion with another ENT who was extremely concerned about the lump. She is scheduled for an MRI and upset about wasting her money and my time on these people.
100 percent pleased with procedure and results loved the dr and staff was excellent would recommend to friends
I really enjoyed my experience at Plastic Surgery of Short Hills. My procedure with Dr. Ovchinsky was quick and painless and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.
For the most part I will say my experience at this facility was flawless, except for one exception that would not have happened if not for the pandemic. As per gov regulations I was told to take a pre surgery covid test. That was fine with me so I went ahead and took the test when the PSSH told me to a few days prior to my surgery. One day before my surgery I received a call that I needed to retake the test right then and there bc I had taken it too early. At that moment I was at work already stressed about the surgery only to be given another reason to stress. The choice was to leave work without pay, drive almost an hour to a testing site to be tested or loose my surgery date and amount I have paid. Of course I choose the first, risking getting fired due to leaving work without permission. The facility apologized but did nothing further to make up for this. I understand this was not completely they are fault but having told me a specific date to take the test and having done everything I was told from the beginning this ruined my entire experience. I lost out on a days worth of pay and looking bad to my employer

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
