List of Rachel Farley Loftus's Reviews
I had been going Dr. Farley-Loftus for many years. Nothing special - just regular check ups, usually takes 3 minutes of her time. One thing that is constant in that office -you have to wait. Then you are placed in a room, undress, then wait again. Then the nice doctor comes in an APOLOGIZES for the wait. Well, today was the last time I went to that office. I had an appointment at 12:30. Came in few minutes before. Sat down, then they called in a woman who turned in her paperwork after me. The office is empty. Sat for 20+ minutes, then I asked the receptionist - "what's happening , I have to go back to work, it's my lunch hour". The standard answer - "the doctor will be with you shortly". "How do you know?" So, she goes to check. Comes back - "they are doing a procedure, so she could not ask". Then the manager who was sitting in the nearby room gets involved. Again, this liar tells me "they will be with you shortly". Obviously, he did not know - to the question "why they had to start a lengthy procedure, while I was there on time for a short visit" they answer is this the way all medical offices work. Bullsh*t! I had cancelled my appointment and and not coming back. So, the bottom line - obnoxious, lying and incompetent staff.

Then you are placed in a room, undress, then wait again. Then the nice doctor comes in an APOLOGIZES for the wait. Today I finally realized that this was due to her incompetent lying staff, who does not care for the patients' time. Today I had to wait 20+ minutes to find out that the doctor started to do a procedure for another patient while I had been already in the office. It is not clear why they had scheduled that patient at the same time as me, or if that patient was late for her appointment. The bottom line - I was on time, but the wait time in that office is predictably unpredictable. Well, for this patient - if you don't care for my time, I don't care for your service.

Had an appointment today. Drove from NYC Got to the office and the most obnoxious man at the front desk would not let me keep my appointment because I did not bring my Medicare cards even though they had my numbers and I said I would send them when I got home. He said no had to have them. He also said it was my problem that I drove from New York. He should be fired. Disgusting person that he was. I obviously would never go there again. Ask so would not let me speak to anyone else. The worst experience ever. Never has that been done to me before. I sure hope Dr Farley sees this
Drove from NYC would not let me keep my appointment because I did not bring my Medicare cards. They had my card numbers. Front desk man totally obnoxious. Said I would scan them when I got home. Said no. Should be fired. Told him I drove from NYC. Said it was not his problem. Would not let me speak to anyone else. Just a horrible experience. Sure hope the Dr sees this.
I have been going to Dr. Rachel Farley-Loftus for 2yrs now due to perioral dermatitis after suffering for a year prior to visiting her first. The medication prescribed by her helps to keep the condition under control (I learnt that this condition could keep coming back inspite of being in control/gone temporarily). This condition is likely a slow process of improvement and could take several months to years to get rid of so patience is highly recommended to see the result of the medication. In my case it took 4-6months to see the first medication results but it got under control to 98% and when I stop the medication it keeps coming back . I found Dr. Farley-Loftus to be professional, on time and doesn't rush on appointments and pays attention to detail. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I’ve been to many dermatologists in NY, NJ, India, Empire state building, Fifth Ave, wherever people have referred having suffered from eczema all my life. I’ve tried everything from herbal teas, ink, homeotherapy, proprietary medicines, and cortisone injections. She obviously couldn’t cure me bc eczema doesn’t have a cure but she listened and asked many questions and provided different treatment options to address flares and provide maintenance care starting with milder options and working up. She also did a good job of explaining how to apply, when, potential concerns (when I was pregnant), and other options to look into causes/ triggers. I’ve stuck with her bc I believe she is knowledgeable and has my best interests.
We felt very comfortable with the treatment received by Dr. Richie Lin. Not having met our deductible, we had out-of-pocket expenses. We were very pleased with the outcome and the cost of the procedure. Thank you!
They don’t care about new patients

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
