Great sense of humor. That's for sure.He really took his time getting to know me and how to adjust my meds so that finally I was on the right path. He cuts right to the point,and doesn't berate you.Did my stents that I needed, was at the hospital always right on time and I was in and out same day. Awesome!

Horrible person and doctor, it took him to see me visiting my mom in the hospital before he would look at her results. He told me he didn’t know who I or my mother was. I wouldn’t recommend him to anybody

As with any dr's visit, my husband & I are a bit apprehensive before we see any physician but Dr Vlahos' appointments are some of the easiest to go to because he makes you feel relaxed with a light touch & humorous way! He answers our questions in a straight & informed way & it's a pleasure to be a patient of his! We definitely recommend him to family & friends! However if he becomes too popular we'll have to rethink our recommendation because it might become harder to get an appointment, LOL!!!

I suffered a heart attack July 2, 2017. I was treated at Bayshore Medical Center. Dr. Vlahos installed 3 stents and spoke with me after the procedure. I was very disappointed with the doctors bedside manner, but to me, that was irrelevant, the treatment was most important. I had to go back to the hospital to have 2 of the stents readdressed as Vlahos didn't notate that he was unable to open 2 of the stents. A second cardiologist performed an unnecessary procedure trying to open 2 of the stents.

A second cardiologist performed an unnecessary procedure trying to open 2 of the stents, that Vlahos failed to notate he had never been able to open when he installed them. As a result, I had another cauterization and spent 3 more days in the hospital, again because of Dr. Vlahos's negligence. The cost to B/C B/S for the 2nd unnecessary stay $91,000.00. The second cardiologist stated he would have notated the fact that 2 stents were impenetrable and had he known, he wouldn't have had to perform the procedure. Patient beware!
