Dr. Elkwood performed nerve decompression surgery on my shoulder and arm in 6 different areas. He and his team were extremely thorough in their diagnosis and approach. Almost 3 weeks post-op and I’m feeling terrific. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

My experience at Dr Elkwood office was nothing but amazing! From the doctors to the staff they made my experience so amazing. Never having surgery in my life caused a lot of anxiety, but the staff was very comforting and reassuring that everything would be okay! I’ve been in chronic pain from piriformis syndrome for over 14 years. Countless doctors have tried interventions but did not agree with the diagnosis. I read about Dr. Elkwood on the internet with a patient experiencing the same pain I had been in. I made an appointment and after a few tests I finally had surgery. We were not sure if it would be successful due to the length of time I was in nerve pain. I had to go back in for one more shortly after. Finally after 14 years Of chronic unresolved pain and no sleep, I am pain free. He is very compassionate and understanding and answers all your questions.

I was so fortunate to find Dr Elkwood and Dr lakhiani. The circumstances that led to my injuries made it impossible to find a doctor that would help me. My brachial plexus was damaged throughout my entire arm. My chest and stomach walls after a mastectomy and Diep Flap were left mutilated. I was left in so much pain and my life was completely altered. When I came to see Dr Elkwood he knew exactly what to do he was able to pinpoint exactly where the pain was coming from. He promised that he would do all he could to help. I underwent several procedures to correct the brachial plexus. I also was able to get reconstructed from the deep flap procedure both on the breast and the stomach wall. I can't express my gratitude This has been a long road with Dr Elkwood and Dr lakhiani, but they stood with me the entire time. I am finally able to enjoy my life again. I have the ability to use my arm with so much less pain. I feel more confident and more beautiful. They really put back together my broken body. I am forever grateful !

Dr Elkwood and hIs team are really amazing! I was in a really bad situation with a winged scapula. Let’s just say I was not an easy patient to deal with lol. I was having a lot of problems mentally because of my situation. Dr Elkwood and his team of excellent Dr staff kept me in high hopes and eventually turned my whole situation around for the best!!! I would say currently I’m up in the 90% range for recovery and I’m sure I’ll make a 100% recovery at this point. Bottom line is I was very nervous and upset before we started this whole process and now I’m back to the person I was before my injury and it’s because of Dr Elkwood and his astonishing team. I can’t thank them all enough!

Dr. Elkwood is very compassionate. He answers all your questions even the questions I didn't know to ask. He puts you at ease. I Highly recommend Dr. Elklwood.

I was referred from another surgeon who advised me that my case was very complex. He thought I would do great with Dr. Elkwood. After consultation with Dr. Elkwood and another doctor, it was determined I was a candidate for BARS surgery. Prior, during and after surgery, the care I received from Dr. Elkwood and his staff was exceptional! Dr. Elkwood demonstrated his vast knowledge about my surgery, while being compassionate and professional, patiently answering all my questions.
