Dr. Matthew R. Kaufman's Online Review Report Card

I had issues with my phrenic nerve causing severe shortness of breath after having Covid. I was in contact with Dr. Kaufman for months prior to surgery to see if issues improved on their own. He an his staff were extremely helpful and got me in as soon as he suggested I do surgery. Within a couple weeks post op I feel improvement and with physical therapy I’m sure I’ll continue to improve. I would definitely recommend him and completely trust his work and his staff.

Dr. Kaufman is the best! I had surgery done for phrenic nerve issues and have already seen improvement! I can’t wait to continue healing and see what the next year looks like.

Overall great environment, extremely professional and very nice people! A very easy process. I would recommend him to anyone who needs fulfill their plastic surgery needs.

I had a I Lipoma removed off of my left shoulder by Dr Kaufman. About three weeks after the surgery I started to get concerned so I made an appointment for him to look at it. The secretary gave me an appointment but with the wrong doctor so I had to reschedule. So the next week I finally get to see him. He said there was some fluid in it so he was going to aspirate it and when he was done he said there was only a little bit of fluid so I should be fine. Two weeks later I’m back in the office because it’s still swollen and hurts. I assumed I would be seeing the Dr since he was the one that did the surgery. I saw his Physicians Assistant who was very nice but really didn’t know what to say except to massage it and make an appointment in a month. I’ve had two lipomas removed in the past by a wonderful Plastic Surgeon that is now retired. It should’ve been a simple surgery.

I was introduced to Dr. Kaufman, by a friend and former patient of his, who had her breasts successfully reconstructed by him, as past doctors did not do a good job. She was very happy with her experience, and encouraged me to go and see him. Despite having scheduled surgery with another Plastic Surgeon before knowing of Dr. Kaufman, I decided to see him. I was very pleased with our first meeting, where he treated me with respect, and I immediately felt safe and secure with him. My right breast needed to be reconstructed to match the left, as my past Plastic Surgeon had failed to reconstruct them satisfactorily, after having surgery. Dr. Kaufman immediately knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. In my gut I immediately knew that I had finally found the right doctor. I live out of state, but despite the long travel to see Dr. Kaufman, it was well worth it as I have now completed the process and I am very, very satisfied with the result. It is always a pleasure to visit Dr. Kaufman, as he is so charming, and always makes me feel at home. I will absolutely recommend all of my friends and acquaintances to Dr. Kaufman.
