Did a great job with my wife.
If you are thinking about taking your child here for anything allergy related, don't bother. Our few experiences here were nothing more than a massive waste of time. We brought our daughter in for a suspected dairy allergy at 4 months old. The nurses were very young and performed a prick test but then forgot which prick was which, ultimately resulting in them telling us there is no allergy. Dr. Szema instructed us to use various creams and give bleach baths to control eczema. Fast forward to our LO at 10 months old, we returned for the same thing. This time with photo proof of hives appearing on the hands accompanied with a cough and slight wheezing after consuming yogurt, ice cream and cheese. Dr. Szema still believed there was no existing allergy even after we demanded further testing. She then scratched our LO's back with a broken tongue depressor (of course our daughter began crying) and went on to show us Google images of Dermatographism? Completely unrelated to what we were concerned about. She continued to talk about asthma and other things that we simply just didn't think applied to what we were there for. We reassured her that the symptoms were only present after consuming dairy. We left before she could print out whatever unrelated paperwork she was trying to give us. I've never felt more disregarded and confused during a doctors visit in my life. Visiting someone else for a proper blood test for milk protein allergies.
The office staff rescheduled my husbands appointment but they did not book it properly. We live an hour away, very disappointed as it was a simple change. He had two appointment blocks 30mins each but they only moved one and he wasn’t able to meet with the audiologist . The doctors here are all great and do spend time answering questions and giving a thorough exam. We will look for facility who values our time.
I'm in pain looking for a good doctor and supportev office staff. But the reviews on the office protocol and them same forms repeatedly filled and the insurance coverage changing. This doesn't seem like a stable practice no matter how good the doctor's reviews. Sad. Also another problem was getting appointments in a reasonable length of time and being shuffled to other offices for their convenience. Skipping altogether and I am very disappointed.
Dr shah was extremely rude towards me and made me feel as if my input was insignificant and it’s his way or the highway. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and they charged me as a new patient. This just comes to show you they are really only out for themselves. And when a patient makes a request you do it!
Excellent experience with this practice, from the front desk, the digital registration to the entire staff, especially Nurse Patty and Dr Passalaqua. My mom has gone here to them for years and now I have switched my previous ENT to join her here as well.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you have a run-of-the-mill allergy, then maybe this place can help you, but if you are experiencing any allergy symptoms that are “outside of the norm” then don’t expect the allergist to take you seriously. I went to this allergist with significant flare ups that were disrupting my life but weren’t manifesting as a “normal” allergy on scratch tests. Not only did she dismiss me, she tried doctor-splaining to me that I wasn’t experiencing the very real symptoms I was suffering from. Flash forward a few months, and I found a different allergist who not only took me seriously but went the extra mile to discover I have an autoimmune disorder. Meanwhile, when I suggested my issue might be immune-related to the allergist at Shrewsbury ENT & Allergy Associates, she practically laughed me out of the room. tl;dr: This allergist will not go the extra mile, will not take your concerns seriously, and will not think outside the box. Thank goodness I listened to my own body and refused to accept the “advice” of this place.
Excellent care by highly trained and experienced providers! Set your appointment early if possible. The lobby can get crowded.
Dr Tavill is the only good thing about this practice. The receiptionists are extremely rude and condescending. You cannot call and speak with anyone directly, only a call center that is incapable of doing anything except telling you that someone will call you back eventually. If you have a serious condition, they will tell you the first available appointment is more than a month away and will not transfer you to anyone on the nursing staff to answer any questions. You are required to fill out the exact same paperwork on every visit and they do not save insurance information so they will make you go through the same process or emailing the information on every visit.
Dr. Szema and her team have been phenomenal in guiding a new mom in managing her child’s food allergies and severe eczema. She goes above and beyond to make sure you fully understand everything and assists with your prescriptions, training, and answers every question fully. Her and her team are amazing. Her nurse also takes care of us every time and is truly exceptional. It’s tough seeing a pediatric patient as it is but they make it fun and interactive. I drive 25 minutes each way just to see her. The office is quick, efficient, friendly, and super clean. Thanks ENT&A Shrewsbury team!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
