List of Performance Orthopaedics And Sports Medicine's Reviews
This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with someone who claims to be a "medical professional". Dr. Dickerson was extremely rude, disrespectful, and ZERO bed side manner. I went for an injury on my foot- which he barely looked at- and instead, berated me with questions about my medication & which psychiatrist I see. Instead of tending to my foot, giving helpful suggestions, etc- he instead asked me "why am I on these medications and who prescribes them?" in the most condescending tone I've ever heard. (Which had absolutely ZERO relevance as to why I was even there!!) He made unnecessary and humiliating comments about my weight. I suffer from depression & bad anxiety (amongst other mental health issues) and can say he made me feel absolutely awful, humiliated, and disrespected. He also never offered to help take on and off my boot & ace bandage. I truly felt like I was an annoyance and waste of his time, just for being there. Cocky, rude, short, and degrading. Something you should NEVER deal with while in the company of a doctor who's supposed to help you!! I left in tears, and couldn't get out of there fast enough. To anyone considering- don't waste your time. If I could give Dickerson (such a fitting name!) zero stars, I would. Unless you enjoy a "doctor" who is beyond arrogant & of no help whatsoever, stay away.
Dr Dickerson has no bed side manor. He goes off on tangents instead of getting to the root cause as to why you are there. One of the worst doctors I have ever been to. Will not be going back there.
Doctors TRAIN your receptionist ! Rude condescending attitudes will be a sure way to keep business away Invest in your staff !
Dr. Dickerson and his staff is super friendly, patient and tolerant. I just had a Rt Rotator Cuff surgery done and he was so confident in reassuring me it will take however long to get it right. Awesome team of health care workers.
Not very good at communicating with patients. Saw him and he said "I don't know what to do. See somebody else but I don't know where to start". Keep in mind, this was for muscle-skeletal issue that orthopedic doctors are supposed to handle/treat. Genuinely awful.
Very thorough and attentive.
Doctor David Dickerson is well knowledgeable and thorough. Very attentive and detail oriented, I would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic needs.
They did a great job on my hip replacement,im 100% satisfied Thanks Dr Dickerson and team
I am very pleased with the professionalism of the entire staff, at the Shrewsbury and Tom's River locations, I have had services attended to. I am, comfortable, trusting of the service provided by Dr. Dickerson and his medical team and look forward with the next visit for a knee procedure on December 28, 2021. This knee, surgical procedure, will potentially, allow me to begin 2022, with a great pain reduction, due to my December 28, 2021 visit. 😁😇😎
Appreciated the realistic assessment of my shoulder problem as well as good answers to other joint questions and challenges. The office is friendly and efficient, although you may have to wait a bit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
