I went to Doctor Spence on the advice of my Primary Care Physician. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at ease. I was not rushed,he listened to all of my symptoms and did a complete examination. He explained each step along the way. 1 month later he performed a cystoscopy at Shire Medical Center. He made me feel completely at ease and allowed me to watch the procedure on the monitor explaining everything each step of the way. The procedure is not painful but is uncomfortable n But his gentle and kind manner made it a lot easier. He is kind, gentle,and very thoughtful of my symptoms and questions. In would recommend him highly.

This practice is the worst. Do yourself a favor and stay away. All about profit not patient care. Whoever manages this practice has no respect for patients. If a Dr. is not fully booked up with patients that day or not enough patients scheduled to bring in a tech for your testing you will get a call a few days before your visit that it needs to be re-scheduled. They will give the excuse, Dr had surgery, or tech was sick, etc. Profit first YOU second. Office staff stressed! Even Dr's are fleeing!

Dr Spence is a wonderful, knowledgable doctor with a warm kind demeanor, however the front office is run like a mechanics office. A patient checks themselves in with a kiosk and if late is told they must reschedule. No consideration is made for the human factor , no consideration for an emergent need to see a doctor or any environmental factor that may cause a lateness. When my husband called to inform the office he may potentially be late due to a car accident he was told by a non medical staff he could not come in . Some medical appointments are stressful enough, a person should not have to worry about checking themselves in or being turned away because they are a few minutes late!. Needless to say ,even though we think very highly of Dr Spence and his medical staff, we will not tolerate the policies of the office staff.
