Had bursitis in my hip and was scheduled to see Dr. McCloskey. He is clear, concise, very informative, and has enough experience that he doesn't have to guess what is wrong with you. Very nice and knowledgable person!!! I highly recommend him!

Dr. McCloskey and I actually had an amicable visit back in February, but my visit in September was anything but. I think I got 4 sentences out the entire time he was in the exam room. Not only did he deny me the opportunity to speak, he didn't listen to anything I said, and at one point actually said that one of my issues was that I was on Medicaid and getting bad doctors within my plan. I'm on Medicaid because I don't have a lot of money, so I'm not sure how he really expects me to see one of these specialists that I can't afford out of pocket. He also wouldn't write me a referral to return to physical therapy for my issue, which had helped tremendously earlier this year. I couldn't get a sentence out without being interrupted and him talking over me. McCloskey severely lacks manners and clearly could use a reminder in how to talk to people. I'll never go to this practice again because of this experience. Never have I been belittled by a doctor so harshly and for no reason.

Dr. McCloskey is very educated and informative. He displays compassion for his patients. He has taken my case seriously when other doctors would constantly blow me off. The office staff is phenomenal! They've been able to work with me throughout the last year and get results and explain everything to me thoroughly as well as order tests that I needed. Couldn't have asked for a better doctor honestly! Thank you Shore Orthopedics!

Dr. McCloskey was very upfront with me in regards to the primary and secondary issues with hands and arms. He was looking for solutions first before recommending surgery. In the end I had surgery on my left elbow and hand. Today three months later I am experiencing great relief with no pain better mobility. Thank you, Dr. McCloskey

The only thing pleasant about my vist was the staff. The doctor on the other hand just sat across the room from me calling me fat and how he could help me but doesn't want to because I'm fat. I left in tears. Not because he called me fat but, he robbed me of hope for relief to get moving again. I went to another doctor who restored my faith, he also helped me with a cortisone shot to the pinched nerve then discussed ways to help me with getting weight off. Not just dismiss me as fat and not worthy of help.

Dr. McCloskey is very good at what he does! He is a great doctor and takes the time with his patients. He has an old school approach and its refreshing to see doctors who tell you like it is! He took the time to explain to me in detail what my problem was and didn't just want to cut me open and then figure it out! I highly recommend him to anyone!!!!
