Had my First visit with Dr. Paul Hierholzer. I have to say I was very very pleased with the office staff but more importantly Doctor Hierholzer. He listened, and went through everything in my medical history. He did not rush!! I would definitely recommend Dr Hierholzer.

Dr. Hierholzer makes quick (incorrect) decisions on you treatment based on his mood that day. **KEEP AWAY IF YOU ARE DISABLED**If you are disabled you are made to feel less human!Rude, inconsiderate, and stunningly offensive comments were made to my face and I was shamed about my work and disabled status!I was DIRECTLY made fun of, told I had "wasted time he could have given to other patients" and my concerns were dismissed.If you do not do what he says he will embarrass, belittle, and dismiss you.During my last visit he actually told me to go stop taking all my meds and go home and start new ones WITHOUT having my lab results to base this decision on. After the appointment he was called and given the opportunity to apologize, sadly he did not!NOTE: My family and I are LONG time patients at this practice and this review is not a reflection on any other doctors there!

I do not recommend this physician. My son went in with fever, swollen glands and very swollen throat. Dr. H. checked ears, throat, chest but did NOT check his temperature, abdomen nor did he culture my son's throat or mono spot test. He gave my son a prescription for amoxicillian and sent him quickly on his way. Unfortunately once my son had taken the amoxicillian, we could not go back and culture his throat. So now we simply have to wait to see what happens. I have since spoken to several physicians and they have all agreed that this was quite irresponsible practice of medicine. Today, in addition testing for the exact problem when possible, it is recommended that physicians avoid overuse of antibiotics. Dr. H showed little regard for current medical standards. Further to his lack of professional medical treatment, the day after my son's visit I tried to follow up with the doctor. No one answered his phone. A machine eventually picked up and said "the machine has not been turned on". I myself think this doctor's training is not turned on and recommend you find a another doctor in the area. I suspect there is a reason there is no wait time to see Dr Hierholzer.
