List of Abigail Lore's Reviews
I found Dr. Lore to be very personable and down to earth. She asked all the right questions and had all the right answers. As a new patient sometimes doctors become aloof, not Dr. Lore. The minute she walked through the door I felt as comfortable as if I had been seeing her for years.
I came 15 minutes late to my appointment with Dr. Abigail Lore bc i got lost. The doctor refused to see me and told me there were no more appointments for the day after i drove an hour to get to the doctor. There were so many times i had to wait to see the doctor or have my appointment rescheduled due to a change in her schedule. The one time i was late they refused to get me in and im a high risk patient. when i had covid on top of it being high risk the doctor refused to prescribe paxlovid or try to get me in for monoclonal antibodies. i had to depend on one of my other specialists to get the care i needed.
Dr. Lore has been my primary care physician for over five years. I have always found her to be caring, compassionate and competent. I have had several complicated and interrelated issues and she has always been helpful in diagnosing and treating them without over-prescribing medication. I heartily recommend Dr. Lore, in particular, and those at CJIM @ Somerset, in general.
I went to Dr. Lore with worsening obesity, Type II Diabetes and hypertension. She had me on low doses of Metformin and Lisinopril. In reference to my alarming test results, she told me to 'just lose weight.' I couldn't. I changed to a different practice. While my new doctor was tough with me (i.e. read me the riot act about my weight and the hard road I had before me) she also expressed confusion as to why my previous doctor did nothing to help me. This new doctor Increased my Metformin and Lisinopril doses considerably; she also perscribed Trulicity. I lost 75 pounds and my blood pressure is now normal. When I started on this new regimen my fasting glucose was 230, and my Hemoglobin AIC was 9.6. My most recent tests: under 100 fasting; Hemoglobin AIC 5.1.
Great bedside manner. Attentive; answers all questions and concerns. Very personable and easy to talk to.
Very personable and thorough but right to the point, without having to wait long to see her. Perfect blend of care and time to do so.
Was rude and condescending. Had no idea what my diagnosed medical condition was. She asked why I was taking a particular drug and when I told her what my diagnosis was she had no idea. She also had an intern (or someone to be a NP or PA) in the room which I was ok with. When I mentioned a supplement I was taking she turned to the intern and made a comment which was medically incorrect. I did not go back to her and would not recommend.
Dr. Lore is kind and compassionate. She is my primary care doc and I've never waited more than a few minutes to see her.
Nice efficient office set up and staff. Very clean. Welcoming staff. Dr. Lore is most professional and knowledgeable in her field. Very easy to talk to. Took the time to listen. Kind, understanding and compassionate. Would highly recommend.
She doesn’t care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
