I was seeing Dr Anna Platovsky for reoccurring, unexplained violent bouts of stomach pain, vomiting & nausea. After a colonoscopy came back clean, Dr. Platovsky brushed my symptoms off as a stomach bug & said to call back if it happens again. It did, so an endoscopy was scheduled. Less than 24 hours prior to the endoscopy, I had been vomiting for 14 hours! She was told but did not ask one question about the episode. She could not care less! I received the biopsy results with two diagnoses on the patient portal a few days after the procedure. Dr Platovsky’s nurse called 2 weeks later telling me the endoscopy showed some inflammation of the stomach lining. The patient portal told me more than that. She said if I had any questions I can make an appt and follow up. Of course I have questions. We STILL don’t know what’s causing these episodes. Dr Platovsky should be following up with ME, talking about the biopsy results and what our next step should be. It’s not acceptable that I have to schedule & be charged for another appointment just to discuss my results & next steps with the doctor. At the very least, PRETEND to care!! Dr. Platovsky failed miserably in so many ways.
