List of Charles J. Gatt's Reviews
Rushed, Not thorough. Gave my mother-in-law a cortisone injection in the wrong area and sent her on her way... saying he does not know why the symptoms were not alleviated after a follow-up visit. Had a second opinion done and was told surgery was the way to go. All is well now, after surgery and not being in the treatment or care of Dr. Gatt. Stay far far away.
I highly recommend Dr. Gatt. I have been working with him through my ACL tear for the past 2 years. His expertise and knowledge is nothing but the best. He is really thorough and explains everything in detail. He has guided me through the process and really is the best in this field. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Dr. Gatt. My son tore his ACL playing football. As a mom, I searched around for the best possible doctor to take care of my son. Dr. Gatt came highly recommended by several people. His knowledge and expertise are impressive. The surgery was a success and in just a few short months my son was back with his HS football team lifting and practicing. Dr. Gatt’s positive attitude assured my son he would be playing again. I like that Dr. Gatt explained everything well, used a titanium screw and a medicine ball to numb the knee, reducing the amount of oral pain medicine needed. That was important to me. His office staff is kind and the surgical center spotless. Dr. Gatt works with many athletes. He is a high quality doctor. We are happy with our results.
I race motocross (dirt bike) and had multiple injuries throughout the years. I met Dr Gatt in 2001 after a bad left shoulder dislocation, torn rotator cuff, frozen shoulder etc. all in one crash! That was the first surgery that I had wit Dr. Gatt, and he put me back on my feet (or should I say back on my dirt bike) in a few months. From there on, each time I injured myself (too many times), I always put my faith in him: 2 ACL reconstructions (right and left knee in 2010 and 2011), torn labrum (right shoulder), two broken collarbones (left and right). Dr Gatt never pushes to surgery until there is no other options: he did not operate on my left collarbone which I was surprised because I thought it looked bad ... but he was right, the collarbone healed w/o surgery within a couple months. For the right collarbone, he plated it: I was back to normal after 6 weeks. Every single surgery he did was a success. Look no further if you need an orthopedic surgeon, you'll be happy.

But I also visited him for many other injuries not requiring surgery e.g. sprained ankle, broken wrist, broken hand, dislocated elbow and every time (again) I was back to normal in no time. So as you can read, I am not giving a feedback on Dr. Gatt after one single visit (lol), I know what I am talking about ... and Dr. Gatt is one of the best (if not the best) at what he is doing. So, look no further if you need an orthopedic surgeon, you'll be happy.
Great visit and he explained everything
Saw Dr. Gatt for a knee injury. He has a great bedside manner, communicates well and is super knowledgeable. He did surgery on my knee and fixed me up good as new! Dr. Gatt is great! I highly recommend him!
I played football at Rutgers University. Prior to any injuries I ran a 4.41 in the 40 yard dash. My senior year in high school I won the Meet of Champions in track for the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.51 seconds, which ranked in the top 10 in America. After tearing both of my ACLs (in which Dr. Gatt operated on both), I came back to run a 4.35 and then eventually a 4.27 in the 40 yard dash and I was able to make it in to the NFL, where I lived out my dreams and intercepted Tim Tebow. I was nervous and felt uneasy with the first doctor I went to for an opinion, but when I went to Dr. Gatt I felt extremely comfortable and I recommend him for anyone. I can't thank you enough Dr. Gatt. .
Excellent Dr. Extremely informative. Spends a lot of time with patient and is extremely courteous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
