Didier Demesmin's Online Review Report Card

I think he was very nice & I felt comfortable speaking with him. He was informative on the next process and what he felt was best for me & other options as well going forward with treating. The staff is very nice & welcoming everyone time I go. :

I appreciated meeting with Dr. Demesmin on my second visit as a new patient. (I did not meet with him at my first visit). I believe a doctor-to-patient visit is an important first step for a new patient and although the PA (Cissy) was somewhat help, I didn't feel that she or the nurse listened well at the intake appointment. Even the 2nd appointment was confusing as the nurse read prior notes incorrectly - e.g., indicated that a former surgeon from 5+ years ago was the referring physician when he was simply the surgeon who performed my cervical discectomy in 2017. Having the doctor meet with the patient at least for the first visit should be standard procedure. As a result, although I liked Dr. D., I think I will continue my search for a better Pain Medicine Management fit. As my need for any procedures arises for my cervical stenosis, I can circle back to Dr. D. if I don't find a better fit, but it does not seem that the practice can service my chronic pain wholistically because it is mostly focused on very specific sources of pain that requires high-priced procedures. With regard to the patient portal, I created an account but upon logging in, I found that a lot of information I painstakingly provided on the forms had not been transferred to my record. I could not even update my prescriptions for meds I am no longer taking. I also could not update personal information that was missing and I know was provided on my written forms. So, it seems there needs to be some attention given to upgrading the patient portal, especially if the practice plans to continue providing visit reports through the portal. The patient records portal seem incomplete. Sorry to be so critical but I have heightened attention to office practices since I chair a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) for a group of family practice physicians.

Great experience like always

I’m very happy with Dr Demesmin and his staff. Everyone is so friendly and Dr D is a great doctor and so knowledgeable. And the office is very organized and clean. I’m so happy that my girlfriend recommended this pain management group. I had an appt today for an injection in my shoulder and I feel better already.

Dr Desmamin and staff very professional and caring to all patients. This was my first time to the office and I was Impressed. Dr Desmamin explained in detail, procedures that can be done to help me. He took the time to listen to the patient NO rushing. 1/4/2023 Today was another visit for a procedure and anxiety had a hold on me. Dr Desmamin and Jasmine reassured me and distracted me during the whole procedure. I actually joked with them afterwards. Thankyou for reducing my anxiety level and your professionalism
