Mark S. Butler's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Butler was the coldest, and least helpful doctor I have EVER seen. I saw him February 2023 for two issues: 1. He did a quick evaluation of my shoulder and said “this isn’t a big deal”. That’s it. No recommendations for physical therapy, no advice on what to do if it gets worse, no advice on what NOT to do so it didn’t get worse. To no one’s surprise, it got much, much worse. I went for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and quickly got a diagnosis. My nee doctor knows Butler and was NOT surprised by his attitude and lack of empathy and care. 2. When I was explaining to Butler that I have had leg pain since 2021 he responded with “this isn’t an orthopedic issue, why are you here?” And “we can’t help you with this.” Zero bedside manner, zero empathy. Zero compassion. What a pathetic excuse of a doctor and medical professional. Every single person I’ve spoken to since has apologized on behalf of Butler and his poor care. I left this office with no help at all.

My experience with Dr. Butler was disappointing. He didn’t seem to listen to me and seemed to belittle my situation. Two days after my appointment with him I ended up going to another orthopedic for a second opinion and found satisfaction diagnosis and treatment in that visit.

I had a positive experience. He took his time to explain everything. I had surgery that was scheduled quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Butler and his staff.

Dr. Butler, is competent and proficient and we very much appreciate having him as our orthopedist. I would trust Dr. Butler implicitly.

On a personal level he is one of the best Drs. I've ever used. But personality doesn't fix you when you're broken. I owe 100% of my recovery to Dr Butler. I was injured pretty badly. By chance I got him as my Dr and I dread thinking how I would be today if I got a a Dr with lesser skill than him.

I went for knee pain and he was very rushed and totally uninterested in any discussion.

Horrible. He did not take his time at all and did not seem very concerned. I was in there for all of 10-15 minutes, showing how little to no effort he put in. I would not recommend going to him.

Dr. Butler took time to listen to my concerns and address options. I did not feel rushed and was comfortable with his assessment and suggestions.

I waited weeks for my appointment. It was confirmed 48 hours prior. I arrived early and was informed by a rude woman that "Dr Butler is not here."My appointment slip confirmed I was correct on the date and time. The woman then told me I had received a cancellation call. I most certainly did not. The woman offered no apology or help of any kind. She expected me to leave without even offering to reschedule my appointment. I never saw a doctor, but waited 20 minutes for the office manager.

My appointment was confirmed, but cancelled the following day unbeknownst to me. The office never contacted me. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and offered no apology or help of any kind. She did not even offer to reschedule my appointment. I will never go back.
