Much better than the first urologist I saw, he alienated me when his staff decided to charge me--for removing a catheter the day after his procedure! It seems he's tired of working.

For selfish reasons I’m very disappointed that Dr Cantanese has retired. He is absolutely the best in his field. I received the very best care. I hope he has a wonderful, healthy and prosperous retirement.

I have visited Dr. Catanese for over 30 years and have always been totally satisfied with my treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a very detailed manner to make me feel comfortable. This last visit was no different, my primary doctor was concerned about my PSA numbers, but Dr.Catanese claimed me and stated that I am fine, but let’s be cautious and gave me medication to take for a week then get re tested in three weeks. Unfortunately he is retiring at the end of March.

Performed same day surgery due to great pain from kidney stones. Dr. Catanese and Dr. Shah are compassionate and caring physicians with attentive bedside manners and always provide less invasive options. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Flexible office hours.

I can only speak of my experience. He used his knowledge for lucrative gain at the expense of a vulnerable patient, not caring about the patience, instead interested in financial gain. It was a horrible experience.

He has a temper. His staff fails to follow up and he wings his appointments when he is unprepared. Horrible experience.

Dr. Catanese is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.
