Dr Joel Efron damaged my trigeminal nerve during molar extraction, due to carelessness and over injections,his hands were shaky and he was sweating during surgery. I told him I hoped he would do a good job he was rude and shook his head. As soon as the anesthesia wore off. I had extreme pain on my lower left chin lip mouth and surrounding areas and 3 teeth near the tooth that was extracted, this injury to the trigeminal nerve was confirmed by two specialists. Of course Dr Efron denied everything. It has been 1 year and 4 months since the extraction. I have had various medications, seen many doctors, had physical therapy. I was advised by Specialists that the nerve had to be killed or severed in order for the pain to stop because the nerve was injured. That in itself was something I did not want to do. There was also bone loss after the extraction to the surrounding teeth. I was advised by Dr Efron's office that that the surrounding teeth also needed to be pulled. I am so thankful I did not go forward with this as the total bone loss has regenerated on my last scan and no other extractions are needed nor biopsies needed. However I was advised if the nerve pain doesn't stop after 1 year It is probably permanent damage. Without getting into any further detail I strongly recommend you avoid Dr Joel Efron.

Had a problem with a bottom wisdom tooth. In a lot of pain. Everyone was so nice, got me in as soon as they possibly could considering Covid-19. The office staff and the surgeon were so nice. Everything was explained thoroughly and I didn't feel a thing during the surgery. Healing was absolutely perfect, no pain, swelling or bruising.

Dr Afron did a great job with my broken tooth. I didn't feel any pain. The staff was very friendly and professional. Michelle was great. Thank you .

I haven’t had a tooth pulled since I was little. I was very nervous about needing 2 taken out and having laughing gas which I never had either. From the moment Dr Efron spoke his soft reassuring explanation of what I was to expect eased my anxiety. The procedure was exactly as he explained it would be. I never felt any pain. His professional and sweet bedside manor made the experience more tolerable. His staff were courteous and very thorough with explaining the post op requirements. I would highly recommend their office to others.
