John E. Langenfeld's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Langenfeld’s for almost nine years. I credit him with saving my life. I have always found him receptive to any questions I might have, and never feel rushed during office visits. I would definitely recommend him to anyone requiring his services.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr Langenfeld. He was recommended by my husband’s Pulmonologist who said he would highly recommend him to his family and that he was the best in his field. After 5 1/2 years we couldn’t agree more with that statement. We are very grateful for that recommendation as Dr. Langenfeld has saved our lives and today we are cancel free. I’d like to add, when calling his office we always got an appointment in a timely manner, not always the case with some Doctors. And when meeting with Dr we never felt rushed as he explains all details regarding our illnesses, and we never left his office with any unanswered questions. He is compassionate, he listens to his patients and his diagnoses is right on target. He is a credit to the medical profession.

Dr Langenfeld has saved my life and I have total trust in his surgical skills. Additionally, he has been aware of my concerns in understanding what was happening throughout the treatment and he answered all my questions thoroughly. I believe he is one of the best doctors I have had in my life.

I truly believe that Dr. Langenfeld was sent from God above. My grandfather was given 6 months to live and told that his lung cancer was inoperable. Fast forward to Dr. Langenfeld suggesting that he could perform a surgery. Not only was he able to remove the cancerous tumor, but my grandfather would no further treatment (chemo/radiation). That was 11 years ago this month. My father will forever be grateful to how God worked through this doctor.

My pulmonologist referred me to Dr. Langenfeld saying to not bother going to a NY hospital because he is as good as anyone in NY. Even though the mid-surgery biopsy showed a malignant lung carcinoma, the other biopsy findings led him to feel it would be safe to excise only the nodule but not remove the entire lobe. We check with a CT scan every 6 months and I have been fine since the surgery six years ago. I am grateful to have him as my doctor. I was told he does not have a great bedside manor, but I always enjoy my office visits with him.

Always gives me the time to ask questions and respond fully. Explains test results in depth.

Dr. Langenfeld explains my CT scan results in a clear and concise manner, and also discusses the next steps for future surveillance. (I had surgery to remove cancer from my lung about four years ago.) I left my last office visit with the feeling that he knows my case very well and I will continue to receive excellent treatment in future, as needed.

Had problems breathing, after many test, emergency visits, Dr Langenfeld, came in the ER, said we have a Operating room at 10:30. Collapsed lung with Blebs, that surgery gave me my Life back, will be forever grateful to Dr. Langenfeld, an his Amazing Team!
