Frank Casella's Online Review Report Card

(After reading other reviews, it seems as if Frank C discriminates against certain patients there for a specific type of care. Illegal)The receptionists should be replaced with people who care and listen to feedback, especially when the feedback directly relates to the front receptionists making errors in patient charts, but alas, Cindy, I believe her name is and the worst one, is still there. A lot of them dismiss people like they’re dumb. Pretty sure a receptionist telling me I’m incorrect, with years of actual patient-clinical experience, feels important on their imaginary high horse. It’s sad the providers, keep these ones on staff- it makes the entire practice look foolish and inept. Frank C, on the other hand, is what I’d term a C or C- provider. He wants to be in and out of that room or phone call as fast as possible; wants zero feedback or discussion (never good), is very quick to jump the gun on threats if he gets annoyed.He seems to bring his personal life to work. I’ve been berated for his errors in my chart, I’ve had to deal with him not listening, interrupting, not allowing my opinion or questions to be heard, condescension, sarcastic remarks when the time is utterly inappropriate, pretending to listen, pretending to comprehend and then proceeding to ignore every word to come out of my mouth, decides everything without asking if I have any questions, etc. just some of the negatives He just comes across as a “do as I say, not as I do,” guy.Visits, new patient, Ed follow ups, med checks, sick visits, etc. are short and abrupt, he doesn’t even do virtual visits. He makes a phone call, but is supposed to do Zoom, OTTO, Skype, even Duo or FaceTime, etc. as per CMS guidelines I believe. He gets very nervous when questioned in a serious manner, it’s audible in his voice, it gets shaky. I’ve heard him threaten to d/c a patient on medications and regimens…because of trivial reasons. Highly unethical, goes against their Hippocratic oath to do no harm or risk chance of possibility of future harm.They’re supposed to be HIPAA compliant; I’ve heard full names, current complaint and reason for visit, PMH/PHI, DOBs, you name it.Id definitely be shocked to hear if they haven’t been reported to the DCA within the past two years.But hey, If this is the type of provider you are looking for, he is your guy!

Really like Dr. C. Nice, engaging, funny. Very caring PCP. Pretty easy to get into. Has been my PCP for 10 years. Never had any issues.

My appointment here was Horrendous. Awful. Unprofessional. Worst doctor I have ever met. I am appalled at the 'bed-side' manner (or lack thereof) of Frank Casella.I absolutely do NOT recommend seeing him. During my appointment, he was incredibly rude and and I am angry that I had to pay money to sit in a room and be disrespected by him.If I could give a lower score, I would in a heartbeat.

Dr Casella is a wonderful physician.He's smart, pleasant, asks questions, talks to his patients, and is genuinely invested in his patients and their wellbeing.

Doctor Casella listens to you, we have been to other doctors told them our complaints and nothing done, finally we changed to Dr. Casella and find out that we had things wrong amd now fixing it.

Dr. Casella is great. Can't say the same about his office staff. Been trying to get a script filled for over 2 months now. Not happening! Went to the office last night after work to pick up the script and was given a photocopy instead. Receptionist wouldn't transfer my call so I could speak with the person that the Doctor told me to talk to. Outrageous!!!! FYI, the nursing staff is great.UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE:Was in the office this morning, front desk was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Our past interactions must have been just bad days all around. If anyone in the office bothers to read this stuff thank you for your help. I really do appreciate it.

Dr Casella is great! the staff is horrible! the receptionist is the nastiest person i've ever come across. it's a shame that some great doctors lose business because they hire such terrible staff!

Terrible should be ashamed of himself

Best doctor I've ever had,been seeing him for over 2 years now,and honestly I've looked for a good primary doctor for a long time and I was so happy to finally find a good doctor who actually listens to me and cares.
