Brought my pre-teen for a sports injury. Not good. Communicated extremely poorly. Was defensive and borderline argumentative when I tried to decipher his diagnosis. Gave me a useless list of PT providers most or all of which were not even pediatric providers. Wasted loads of time trying to find where to have my son treated with PT. He knew the injury he couldn't recommend someone? Just an overall bad experience. Sounds from other reviews that he may be a good orthopedic surgeon. If your trying to avoid getting to the point of needing surgery, pick someone else.

I cannot begin to describe how AMAZING Dr. Bloom was. He explained everything without hesitation, and he made sure to follow up. He did a SCFE surgery for me almost a year ago and I’m going to have one soon from him. I am extremely happy to have found such a great surgeon. When I tell you, he was confident, HE WAS CONFIDENT. He knew what he was talking about. I’m looking forward to my next surgery, only because it will be done by him!
