My name is Joseph Mangini and I was recently a patient at sunrise detox in stirling New Jersey. Not only has my stay here been pleasant and enjoyable but the staff members Kara service coordinator and Darren clinical director went above and beyond to help me. I came in with no insurance and I left with the best health coverage that got me into incredible long term treatment thanks to them. I have experienced positivity and motivation to help me want to get better and have a better view of what my recovery will be like upon my journey moving forward. Highly recommend this place and make sure to ask for Kara and Darren for all the help you can possibly need. 5 stars all around.

Staff has been wonderful since the moment I came in. I was very unsure of how it would be when I arrived but I was pleasantly surprise by how supportive the environment was. The remainder of my stay has been nothing but great and my counselor was awesome! Highly recommend.

Absolute mess.Patients were incredibly disgruntled with the lack of individual care they received.Staff was overworked. 12 hour shifts. Constantly bringing in New employees and training them while patients needed help.Food was incredibly inconsistent and left many patients hungry at all times of the day.Cuntella (forgive me for potentially misspelling). Is a counselor who would rather speak than listen. She described herself as the best speaker and the having the best speech we ever heard.Long story short,I was kicked to the curb with two hours notice.BEWARE THIS IS A BUSINESS. NOT A FACILITY TO HELP YOU.

Stirling location is the best sunrise location by far. The service coordinator and director of nursing along with the nursing staff really care and want you to succeed.

I only put 1 star because they detoxed my brother off of alcohol. Con's he went with his meds for BP and Thyroid problems and yet he wasn't given them until he was clear headed to complain. Opps, sorry. They picked him up from Brooklyn, NY and his counselor - Zachary said they were too busy to send him home. I had to call the admissions office to resolve this problem. Thank you to Russell in the admissions office. I'm sure that Zachary is the exception to the rule. There are always bad apples, but most are good. He also did not set my brother up with after care. We'll help him. I myself have been thru recovery and have places I can call.

I had a really good time while I was here and got to really connect with other clients and John was amazing he really hooked it up to get my parents on board with rehab after detox and Bobby was an amazing tech and you will learn a lot from him in a short amount of time

Met a lot of beautiful staff members. some not so. The good far so out weights the others. Especially the head nurse. They take care of you and friendly. 3 favorites nurses. Plus big John the director. Thank you for all your support.
