Dr. Lorber is an AMAZING doctor. She takes her time to explain your situation. Prior to finding her a went to three different doctors, all of them tried to give me medication that was not required. When I met with Dr. Lorber, she explained to me that my issue did not require medication. I have already began to see positive results after one visit! Yes, you will have to wait because she takes her time with her patients but TRUST me, she is worth the wait. The wait is not extreme… The best things come to those who wait lol

Out of my 70+ years of life experiences with many medical professionals Dr Julie Lorber stands so tall and deserving most praise and recognition as a genuine, personable, gentle and embodiment of a healer that even Ancient Greek physicians should have envied. Dr. Lorber performed my obligatory 60 year old colonoscopy. She and her staff were friendly and spent whatever time it took to review the procedure and insurance coverage. After only about 2 days post-procedure she called me with my results and patiently answered a few of my layman's questions. The whole experience was as good as it could be considering the prep, IV, anesthesia, etc... I would recommend Dr. Lorber to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, patient and professional doctor.

What can I say about this saint of a woman and staff? I’m not sure where to begin. Her staff squeezed me in same day during what seemed like an already packed schedule (waiting room was full), the front staff were patient and very kind. Dr. Lorber is truly a diamond in the rough..her bedside manner was A+++, extremely professional and friendly. She was upfront, honest, and took time to answer all of my questions before, during, and after the procedure. At no point did I feel like she was rushing to get to the next patient. The nurse that was in the room with us was such a comforting support. I am so grateful my GP referred me to Dr. Lorber, and I will be sure to continue to recommend everyone and anyone to her!

Dr. Lorber was patient and thorough in her questions and explanations and administered treatment on the same day as my initial visit after already engaging in a lengthy discussion and examination, as opposed to requiring a separate appointment, which was greatly appreciated.

Dr. Lorber was actually my 4th opinion. I saw 3 other specialists that I either didn’t feel comfortable with or they wanted to do surgery. I’m glad that I made the appointment as my issue resolved without the need for surgery. Dr. Lorber somehow makes you feel comfortable talking about very private digestive problems. Her staff is also very kind.

I called Dr Lorbers office on a Monday looking to get an appointment asap before a vacation that Wednesday.. Needless to say I was really uncomfortable and symptomatic.. her staff was able to squeeze me in the following morning- She met with me in her office and got to know me and my issues- she was able to visually spot my issue and had a gameplan to help me.. there’s a pharmacy on the 1st floor of the building so I was able to get my meds instantly - Dr L saved my vacation and more importantly got me comfortable again.. very grateful and highly recommend!

My experience with Dr. Lorber was AMAZING! She is compassionate , knowledgeable and has perhaps the BEST BEDSIDE manner I have ever seen. I have known her over 5 years and have referred quite a few patients to her and they have thanked me PROFUSELY! The office staff is like family, especially Debbie who really knows her stuff! Dr. Lorber is "real" and honest which is why I recommend her to my other Doctors as a fabulous rectal and colon surgeon! Very WISE choice.!

I never got the opportunity to meet doctor Lorber due to her scheduling assistant Debbie who is extremely rude and unprofessional. This is in response to the office response: Hi Debbie, had you apologized for the miscommunication and misunderstanding with some empathy I would have happily rescheduled. As I mentioned I took the day off for this appointment, anyone would be upset. Rather, you continued to repeat the following to me over and over: 1. Other people are having the same problem as you 2. You should have called us back 3. The doctor is very busy 4. It’s not our fault you took the day off. I’m not sure how you would expect someone to respond to you when you clearly have no compassion for the situation. Best of luck to you and the office. Also: the after hours voicemail does not have an option to leave a message as I called Friday at 4:45pm hoping to do so. It simply states to call back during office hours.

I had an awful experience with this doctor. I waited for an hour and 15 minutes to be seen after my appointment time. After finally being seen after this long wait she didn’t even apologize for the wait. In addition she had awful bedside manner. Didn’t seem to care about anything that I had to tell her. When I was about to leave, she looked at her appointment printout and rolled her eyes that she still had another patient waiting for her in the waiting room. So awful would not recommend!
