Dr Reiter, Brian and everyone in this office is amazing. Dr Reiter and Brian take their time explaining everything, and make sure you are comfortable, and understand what is going on with you. I went to them after suffering for months with debilitating sciatic pain, from a very large L5-S1 herniated disc. It came down to surgery. Dr Reiter made me feel very calm and confident in that decision. I am two weeks post op and the pain is gone! Gave me my life back. I would recommend them to anyone!

I highly recommend Dr Reiter and the entire staff at NJ Spine Specialists. From beginning to end, my back surgery was a complete success. Dr Reiter kept me completely informed all the way through and never had me waiting in his office. When I had my initial consultation with Dr. Reiter, I was suffering from severe spinal stenosis which caused almost total numbness in my legs which left me barely able to walk. I had already met with several other surgeons, most of whom insisted on doing a spinal fusion. Dr. Reiter assured me that he could help me by doing a laminectomy, while still serious surgery, is not as invasive. I was able to walk with no numbness and very little pain the next morning. It’s been three months since my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only is Dr.Reiter an extremely skilled surgeon, his entire staff, especially Brian and Alex, are in incredibly professional and personable. I’ve never done an online review before, but I felt like I should recommend this practice to anyone considering spine surgery.

Dr. Reiter has a very pleasant manner. He spent a lot of time with me and was extremely thorough when he explained my medical condition and its causes to me. He also fully explained his reasons for the treatment recommendations he made. Dr. Reiter also operated on my brother who had a severe case of spinal stenosis and completely cured him. I place great value on value Dr. Reiters opinions and sugical skills.

Doctor Reiter is the most thorough and decent man I've ever met. People like him only come once in a lifetime so if you're smart you'll make him yours. Thank you now and forever for giving me peace.

Dr. Reiter is an excellent Surgeon. I came is barley walking with the worst sciatic nerve pain. I was in excruciating pain for like 2 month and I've done everything you can think of meds, epidural inj, therapy and more. I had a L5 - S1 Large left sided extruded disc herniation compressing and posteriorly displacing the left descending S1 nerve root. Point blank I needed surgery. Dr Reiter performed a Laminectomy and Discectomy procedure. I have to say that when I woke up from surgery right away I felt and knew there was a difference. I am 8 month post surgery and I have to say I am better than I ever was. Thank you Dr. Reiter for relieving me of this horrible pain I was in. His assistant was great as well he told me how great the Doctor was and how the surgery would be beneficial for me. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and doctor's. God Bless you all!

This is the second time Dr Reiter has been my spinal surgeon and both surgeries have been excellent. I also have to say his PA Brian was so knowledgeable in all aspects of my care. I would be remiss in not mentioning the excellent and efficient Alex who welcomes you to the office.

Dr. Reiter was exactly what I was hoping for, someone who understood and cared about what I was going through. After months of severe back pain my consultation pointed to only one option, surgery. Dr. Reiter has wonderful bed side manor and explained my injury in great detail. I was never rushed during any of my initial and post surgery visits. I would, and have already, offered his name to a friend because of the fantastic care from start to finish. Dr. R's office assistants were a pleasure to deal with and his surgical coordinator (Alex) was an absolute Rockstar! I'm grateful to Dr. Reiter and his amazing staff.

After receiving my results of my MRI, I immediately went to see Dr. Reiter. I was given an appointment to see him within two days. Dr. Reiter reviewed my MRI and discussed all my options in detail. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc L5. After listening to Dr. Reiter's recommendations, I made the decision to have surgery because I was in so much pain. My surgery was then scheduled two weeks later. I am currently in my fourth week of recovery and I feel so much better. After my first post-op visit, I thanked Dr. Reiter for taking such excellent care of me. I also thanked his staff Brian, Alex, and Denise. They are such a great team!

After experiencing chronic pain for more than 25 years, 100% of my nerve pain is gone thanks to Dr. Mitchell Reiter. He is always smiling, kind, and spends time answering questions and concerns. His bedside manner is unparalleled. His office staff are sweet and helpful. Everyone at the surgery center made me feel comfortable, as they knew how anxious I was about the surgery.
