Didn't like me, apparently, and didn't keep up my synthroid prescription as my hypothyroid increased. My stomach got so big that I actually got a tummy tuck -- I always had been skinny and exercised regularly. When I moved to another city and got a new GP, he immediately increased my Synthroid dosage to an appropriate level. Now I have a big scar across my stomach. No, I don't recommend her.

If I could give this practice 1 star I would. Horrible business practices; was told I could switch doctors to another in the practice by 2 office staff there but upon seeing the first doctor and scheduled for a different one the next time, at the next appointment was told I could not see the other doctor at all. I left then was charged over $200 for an office visit after seeing no one in the 2nd visit which was the fault of this practice that’s a complete disorganized nightmare. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Great clinician with strong interpersonal skills

I have been a patient of Dr. Selinger's for a number of years and find her to be a very caring doctor. I have never felt that she has rushed through an appointment and I feel she sincerly listens to my concerns. Dr. Selinger was recommended to me by several friends and my primary doctor her and I am very happy that I have been seeing her.

Dr. Sharon Selinger is an excellent physician and endocrinologist…..it was her office staff that caused me to change to another exceptional endocrinologist, Dr. Cheryl Rosenfeld in Parsippany. Dr. selinger’s staff were sub-standard and acted very put upon. They very often do not answer phones during normal business hours, but call patients at their convenience…..which resulted in enormous frustration and an on-going game of phone tag…..when I left a comment that it was difficult to return calls when you only get a message (back to square one), the receptionist never called me back…..total lack of professionalism! I’m so glad I switched as I don’t need more frustration in my life and Dr. Rosenfeld’s staff is a dream team!!

The doctors themselves are great, but the staff (billing and front desk) are really just not understanding and can be quite rude.

IT WAS HORRIBLE. SHE WAS SO RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL. I WAS THE PATIENT, WAITED OVER 1 HOUR FOR MY APPT. WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT WAITING SO LONG WITHOUT EXPLANTION, SHE ENTERED THE ROOM & ASKED IF i WANTED HER THERE OR DID I WANT TO LEAVE.M SHE DID MY APPT AND i LEFT..............i WILL NEVER GO TO HER OFFICE EVER AGAIN, OR DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMEND HER,

I should have known better when it was difficult to get an appointment here as I was looking for a new Endocrinologist. I wish Endocrinologists had an actual person answering phones instead of a maze of an automated phone service but it seems all offices are the same, including this one. I'm Type 1 Diabetic for 16 years and they have gradually gotten worse over the years in terms of attention to the patient. Anyways, I finally got to see Dr. Huberman and he was professional and knowledgeable; the 2 stars are actually for him but he's for sure a 5 star doctor stuck in a 1 star place. Had I actually been able to get in contact with him when I was having blood sugar issues, I'm sure he would have gotten it under control eventually. Every time I called, I would get an answering machine and they returned my calls twice while being a patient there. Calling is hit or miss. If you do get someone trained to handle medical issues, you either get a nice lady or a lady that sounds like she does not want to be there. If I knew her name, I would post it because of what she said to me and she deserves to be called out for her insensitivity. Since I was having blood sugar issues, I would sometimes ask for a note to take to work because I want to keep my job and not be fired for attendance while going through this. I had a drastic change in my insulin regime and it was taking time to adjust. I guess she must be the one that takes care of the notes and it was too much work for her. She told me with an attitude that my numbers weren't "critical" and it's up to the doctor's discretion if they want to write a note, yet I had been able to get previous notes from them without issues. I've been told some pretty messed up things from staff at offices that are not Diabetics themselves and can't understand but this is just infuriating and insensitive. I definitely held back since I'm not someone to yell at people and just didn't want to stoop down to her level. I've had great numbers for years and now all of a sudden they are terrible. What might not be medically critical to her, sure is to me and I feel it harder than ever since I'm not used to anything over 200 for a blood sugar. My eyes would burn, dizziness would set in, and my entire body would ache, along with other symptoms of hyperglycemia. What an ignorant and miserable woman; she really should reconsider her choice of field if this is too much work and she is okay with talking to an ill human being like this. Don't ever tell someone that is chronically ill that whatever they're going through isn't "critical". I'm no longer a patient there since a few months ago and I hope they improve their ways.

I absolutely love Dr. Huberman, but absolutely detest, hate and abhor the phone system and the staff that works with it. I can never contact them and they do NOT return calls in a timely fashion.

I waited months to see Dr. Selinger; the wait was worthwhile, she listened carefully and spent time trying to understand my situation, she is compassionate, empathetic, and non judgmental. My gut feeling is right..... that I am off to a great start after years of ignoring my condition/being in denial. Gladys Atandi
