Can’t speak to quality of the care. But the office staff is a rare combination of incompetence and meanness.
In Dec 2019 I went to Dr Brown for a second opinion concerning my cataract and other issues I have with my eyes. Here it is Feb.5th and Dr Brown performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and I am so happy with the results and want to thank Dr Brown for making the whole experience very easy from beginning to end.
Wait time was 1/2 hr to get started. Then After the preliminary test with the technician, I had to wait again to see Dr. Brown. When I complained to the technician about the lateness, he gave me no reaction tony concern. Same - no reaction from the receptionist when I complained about the lateness. Metered parking on the street outside the medical office. Ran out to put more $ in the meter, as the appointment was Going to be over 1 hr. Back at the office, technician PUSHED me into the exam room
I've been a patient in the office for 40 years. The receptionist was very rude. I needed to make an apt. because I was having a lot of trouble seeing at night. I was given a date in Feb 2019 three months away. The receptionist said they had an office in Teaneck N.J. After explaining that I was having a difficult time seeing and the distance was a little to far to drive. She then dismissed me on the phone by responding,"Ok then have a good day and abruptly hung up the phone. Very rude manners!
We have been patients of Dr.Browns for about 10 yrs, but have to leave this practice because the office wait for a basic checkup is one hour before you see the doctor! It's ridiculous. This has been happening for about two yrs now. The doctors are very good, I believe, we've only been there for checkups and contact prescriptions though. I've complained nicely, with no results, so their lack of caring leads me to say goodbye. They obviously overbook and don't care.
truly professional. we would recommend him.Great personality. very soothing
I first saw Dr. Christopher Brown during an emergency visit to another eye Dr who said the injury I sub stained needed to be seen by someone who could help save my sight in the eye. I was sent over to his office having the staff and doctor stay open to wait for me to arrive. After two operations one the night before Thanksgiving and opening Thanksgiving morning to check the eye, I have my eye sight and a forever thanks to a great doctor with a great personality. I have nothing but reaves for this office and doctor.
Dr. Brown is a superb Doctor. An excellent eye surgeon and a very empathetic gentleman
Dr Chris was introduced to me while I was hospitalized for some eye pain. I didn't know this doctor and the hospital staff said to me Dr Brown is still coming to see you. I truly doubted this since it was 9:30 at night. My cousin who happens to be a nurse was with me and low in behold at about 9:45 p.m. in walks Dr. Chris. He is very thorough, gentle...he's a doctor with a lot of knowledge and a wonderful spirit. I was told later that Dr. Chris usually goes home and has dinner with his family and puts his kids to bed; he will then come back out to do rounds at the hospital. You will not go wrong with this doctor or the practice. I will be seeing Dr. Chris again for my checkup in a few weeks.
Dr. Christopher Brown has a wonderful bedside manner. Listens and takes the time to obtain the correct diagnosis, explain what it is and clearly detail the treatment plan. The staff were all so friendly. I was emergently squeezed in but still seen in quickly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
