Ive done ACL surgery with him last year and I have full tear on the same knee and ligament again only after 15 months, and its frustrating. I didnt even apply that much force this time, as I never felt 100%. In fact, my knee popped a few times prior to full tear, and trust me, I was very religious about following protocols and going to PT. I dont think the surgery itself had problems, but he only uses cadaver. This is an issue even with amateur athletes like me. After doing some research, I found out cadaver is not suggested for any athletes, and usually it has to come from your own tendon of hamstring or quad. Great guy overall with receptionists who can be very rude at times. Do your research before if you are young and want to play sports even if at a recreational level. Im a 36YO male
THE WORST! Not only did he insist on performing a procedure that wasn't warranted - he botched it profusely and it now has to be redone! I have seen several prominent surgeons who've all asked why was this ever done?!? After three weeks the pain was excruciating and he insisted everything was fine! At first he said 4-6 weeks recovery than switched it to 2-3 months - and then of course 6 months and eventually one year to avoid excepting responsibility. Needless to say it was not only the wrong procedure it was done incompetently! He laughed the entire time as though it were some sort of joke - never once apologizing for the pure hell I have endured for 16 months! I have lost almost 2 years of my life when you factor in the recovery time of the revision!! For the first three months there was no position I could place my leg in without sever pain! Sleeping was impossible yet he insisted it was FINE! He does these procedures like an assembly line and obviously for the money! The entire implant is now loose - the thought of going through this again leaves me beyond devastated! Not only did he botch my surgery - he screwed up my next door neighbors emergency hip replacement surgery as well! She had hers redone at Hackensack. He's riding his father coat tail (it was his practice) and behaves as though everything is a joke! He hasn't a care in the world when he destroys someone's life! The office staff is as bad as he is - they keep you waiting for over an hour The first time I went they actually forgot about me! I should've RUN right then and there! Everyone you talk to says the same! He's terrible! 18 months of pure hell because of him!!
If I could leave a negative review of stars, I would I had surgery scheduled and rescheduled four times because the doctor is incompetent. Save yourself the time energy and frustration go somewhere else and his procedures are outdated. Do your research don’t go to this office. 10/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Great Doctor! Very knowledgeable and kind. Quick in and out consults and great personnel.
As others stated Dr. Pfisterer is very good and his bedside manner is in fact stellar. However his staff absolutely positively SUCKS! The first time I saw him I was kept waiting close to an hour and then informed they had forgotten about me - hey, at least they were honest! Second time, similar instance - kept waiting! I had a similar incident once and YET AGAIN today only this time I left after 20 minutes. It was an emergency visit for a possible infection after an injection and I was told to come in at 2. Instead I got there at 2:15 knowing how they keep you waiting and left at 2:35. There is no justifiable reason and or excuse why they don't pick up a phone to say the doctor is running late! His x-ray tech is even worse. An extremely unpleasant wretch! When I called the day before to report the possible infection the call was returned over 12 hours later! NOT GOOD AT ALL! Obvioulsy no one is manning the phones for emergency - that concerns me profusely had this been after a surgery
Good doctor horrendous staff. If doing nothing were an Olympic sport they would take home the gold. Wait times are so long they could walk into yesterday!
Very friendly ! Definitely recommend to everyone!
I'm just want to passing by to Express my gratitude tt doctor Pfisterer.. He took such a Excellente care of my mom NEIDE ROCHA which this is the second knee surgery he proceeded on her... He did AMAZING JOB.... HE IS THE BEST... HE DESERVES MORE THAM 5 ☆ Thank you doctor Dennis and may God Bless you always !!! 🙏😱👏
He's an excellent doctor, as was his father. I highly recommend him.
Let me preface that Dr. Pfisterer was incredibly nice and had great bedside manner however, he offered little to no resolution to a problem I had with my arm and shoulder and essentially told me he didn't know what my issue was. Furthermore his practice is run very unprofessionally. It took over two months of requesting my medical file for me to obtain it (HIPA requires it be turned over in 30 days or less). When I informed the staff that the extended wait was a violation they stopped taking my calls and even ignored an attorneys notice requesting my file. They later said that my files weren't chatted causing the delay but I've never heard of a dr waiting 2 months to chart a visit. Nice guy but would suggest going somewhere else... anywhere else

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
