Not a Doctor I would trust. My Sister need a few procedures to be done. She a diabetic and has stage 4 Kidney failure. Went to Runback for a Fistula to be implanted in her arm. Se also needed Stents to open blood flow. Trying to get the Fistula taken care of because Dialysis center was getting concerned about old fistula not working well. Trying to get this done for 3 months. Then find out the Doctor does not do this proceedure. This is after he says he can do the Fistulia in the first place. I wish I could give less than 1 star. My 85 year old grandma went in for an angiogram about 10 years ago. Afterwards she couldnt bend her leg. He told her it was arthritis. Fast forward to June 3, 2022. He did another angiogram on the other leg. 5 days later my grandma had a stroke, can not walk at all and her foot that had a wound has completely turned black. That wasnt all. Today July 1st, was our follow up visit AND HE DIDNT SHOW. You would think since he was the last to do a procedure and her health has significantly declined since then, he would want to see the patient, talk to the patient, NOTHING. I was told by the np that the test results are enough for him to see. My grandma inched her way sliding from the wheelchair to the car, and back again in agonizing pain to see him and he didnt show. Heres the best part he was the one to set up the appointment with her doctors at the rehab. And when we called their office yesterday to confirm, no one mentioned he wouldnt be there. So we spent 1220-3 in his office where he couldnt bother to come. He was doing another surgery, probably ruining someone elses leg who he wont follow up with. He didnt respect my grandma enough to come today and I have 0 respect for surgeons who operate for $$$$$$$ instead of helping patients. Absolute garbage 🚮 I wish I could give less than 1 star. I dont know who out there needs this info but I wish I knew this man a year ago. If anyone is having trouble with an injury or a wound that isnt healing or any blood flow / vascular issues definitely give Dr. Rundback a visit. I was told "no no no" ... "theres nothing we can do" by some of the top doctors and surgeons until I met Dr. Rundback who confidently got right to work. I am very grateful for the procedure he performed. All I can say is keep trying and dont take no for an answer. It's all a matter of just connecting with the right confident doctor that your situation needs. I dont know who out there needs this info but I wish I knew this man a year ago. we were referred to Dr Rundback by our general doctor, and we can see why.he is very professional and kind! I saw Rundback because my iliac veins had clotted off after back surgery because I had not been put on Coumadin. I was in excruciating pain and could not stop crying. He said he couldn’t stand me. He never spoke with my husband or myself about his plan. He never offered me a prescription for pain medication. He placed stints in my iliac veins and destroyed the filter I had to protect me from blood clots and never told me. Would not allow me to see films even when asked. The stints clotted and I had to have the procedure repeated. My legs swelled and I could not walk. Problem went on for several years until I was able to convince my PCP the stints were inadequate. The problem will persist for life. Stints placed were too small and cannot be manipulated in anyway to relieve the problem. This is a chronic problem which necessitates having to have the stints reamed out about every six months. A procedure which requires a general anesthetic and exposes me to an increase in developing blood clots and all the risks of having a surgical procedure under general anesthesia. Attempts to get in touch with him after this were met with silence.
