Dr. Mathew’s is wonderful, very caring and sweet also informative and does not rush us out like some doctors . No issues with her but I do have issues with their phones and some staff actually just one person. She is rude a lot and at this point I’m used it and can ignore her I can’t however, ignore the fact that it takes days to get through to them by phone just to make an appointment . Constantly ...

If I could leave zero stars I would. Let me start by saying I couldn't believe that dr matthews would call me to argue with me. My daughters school nurse called to inform me that dr matthews gave her immunizations that she needs for kindergarten not for pre k . I then called dr Matthews office to inform them. Dr matthews called me 2 mins later to argue with me and tell me that the nurse doesn't have her degree speaking of the school nurse as if her degree meant nothing. Then proceeded to tell me that i had no right to tell Her she gave the wrong immunizations. She was so unprofessional and I never experienced that with anyone. For her to hold her degree so high surprised she would speak to anyone in that manner. I only went to her because she was the closest doctor to me. But this on top of her wait time isn't worth it.

I left this office feeling completely abused physically and mentally. Because I seen another urogynecologist before her, I felt like she was only interested in bashing that doctor and could careless about me. She insulted me and allowed some man ( never told me his position) to do my exam and I was am now bruised and hurting. Very rude and crude doctor.

Just the meanest person I have ever met - period. The only person she cares for is herself. Much better choices just a few miles east in Durham.

It is so refreshing to see such a good, compassionate, sweet Doctor nowadays. She is so knowledgeable and listens to everything you have to say. My daughter is so lucky to have her.

Very caring, always explains things well. My kids love her. I recommend her to everyone and so far 3 of my friends go to her and love her as well.

This Dr.is over rated and not a good communicator. She does not care to listen, be asked questions or run tests. She is not interested in her patients and has no patience. This is not someone you cannot work with if you have a complex issue. Since she is the only choice for a urogynecologist at this clinic She was rated high on the internet but she is arrogant and hateful. I bet if her staff could be interviewed separately, they would agree. I would be afraid to have surgery by her because she seems uncaring and crude.

For about 1 year and then again just recently, I have had the priviledge of having Dr. Matthews as one f my several doctors. I have received excellent care from her. My illness was complicated. Dr. Matthews, always took time to listen to me speak about my symptoms and I always felt better after each visit.

Dr. Matthews has the absolute WORST patient follow-up I have ever experienced. She sent me to have several tests done and weeks later, I never received any follow-up call from her to tell me what was found/or to identify the problem. She referred me to two different specialists while I was under her care and guess what, it has been 3 months and she never followed up or called me back to tell me what the next step is in getting my issue resolved. She clearly does NOT care about her patients.

Dr Chyjek delivered my second daughter with amazing care and expertise. My own OBGYN didn't make it to the hospital in time, but luckily Dr Chyjek , whom I had never met before(!), was the doctor on call. She was calm and reassuring in a hectic situation, and also did a great job stitching my relatively small tear. I would definitely choose her again!
