List of Maryann Picone's Reviews
Horrible experience with Dr. Picone. Initial visit she did not have a great bedside manner but I overlooked it since she was recommended. Should have known better when she told me I didn’t look in pain when I needed a blood patch after my spinal tap. Called today to let her know I’m experiencing an episode (which her office told me to do) and it was like I was bothering her and was told there’s nothing she can do. I should see an Orthopedic! I will be finding another doctor ASAP!
Dr. Picone is compassionate and makes you feel at ease. She is a specialist in MS and truly cares about the well being of her patients.
I met with dr. Picone today for an initial consultation regarding my MS and she was terrific. She was very thorough and knowledgeable while addressing all of my MS questions and concerns. I left her examination room feeling really good knowing that dr. Picone will be responsible for my MS healthcare.
Dr. Picone is the REAL DEAL! Finding the right doctor to get to the right diagnosis has been such a frustrating process. Now, I feel so lucky that she will be the captain of my ship taking charge to get to the bottom of what’s turning my life upside down. She has such widespread knowledge not just MS. She is an outstanding doctor and person, a terrific listener, compassionate, sincere and covers all the bases. I feel that I can now start to relax as I have total trust and confidence in her ability and commitment to helping me get my life back. Dr. Picone is truly an asset to this profession.
quickly without going through your results throughly. She is very dry and shows no compassion. I will be looking for a new doctor.
I have met other patients that hate her. She is just ok for me.
The only reason she is known is because Dr.Picone was the only doctor just treating MS. Now all other hospitals have a center for MS. When you explore other doctors you see how dumb Picone is. I never use to believe the critics of her until I experienced her inaptitude first hand many times. Picone will love you and speak to you nicely if you are really stupid. Picone is a dictator and this is why she doesn’t work well with other doctors. So don’t ever feel bad because she has turned on you. It just means the student has surpassed the master.
$1.5 million dollars she has received from the drug companies just in the past few years alone. The biggest company that gave her money is the one she was doing the drug research on with patients. The government has to publish this now because of watchdog groups that cite studies that show doctors are not impartial when giving these drugs out especially when doing research on their effectiveness. Then I get from Holy Name Hospital a solicitation on how I should give my last dollar to the MS Center. That is the most egregious point of it all! Time for this sham to end! You can find this information at Openpaymentsdata.cms.gov or projects.propublica.org/docdollars/ Or just type dollars for doctors.
She spent an hour an a half with me thoroughly going through my history and putting me on the right meds, so grateful for her and her staff is awesome!!!! I travel an hour to see her and its so worth it as I've seen many Neuros with no luck. I love her, she really cares.Highly recommended

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
