His secretary has such a NASTY attitude she shouldn’t be working there not a place for her. Went for the first time today and as soon as I walked in she said she had to reschedule me claimed I was 15 mins late which I wasn’t.

I went for my yearly physical yesterday at the Teaneck office. Dr. Welish was very thorough and listened to all of my concerns; and most of all, he took his time. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Welish for many years and I would recommend him to anyone. He also has a knowledgeable and kind staff who do their best to make you feel comfortable and cared for.

I called to reschedule my daughters and my appointments and the receptionist was extremely rude I am a registered nurse and if any one at our facility talked to any patient , or anyone for that matter the way she spoke to me they would be written up. I recommend Dr. Welish to everyone, my family all goes to him and many of my friends that I referred to him and love him... its the staff that is questionable.

I’ve been seeing Dr Welish for over 10 years and have been mostly satisfied with him. Recently he hired Nurse Practitioner and LOST the personal touch with patients. On my last visit he had the nurse practitioner do all the work and basically went with her recommendation without truly paying attention to my needs. He spent 2 minutes talking to me and seemed extremely hesitant in making any recommendation to make me feel better. He also refused to provide me with requested medication stating that he went with his nurse practitioners recommendation. Highly disappointed. Would NOT recommend him after my recent experience. He is too focused on making money rather than treating the patient.

Dr. Welish really cares for his patients. Been going to him for about 5 years now. Every interaction with him is pleasant and he is very professional but you also don't feel rushed in and out like many other doctors these days. He has a great support staff so the office visits are very smooth. I'm very grateful to have him as my doctor.

From my first visit to see Dr. Welish I felt comfort in his professionalism, knowledge and concern for my health. I went to see him as a new patient and his through questions and suggestions saved my life. You see I was working out in gym and I thought I was in pretty good shape( not over weight) but as a new patient to Dr. W he suggested we do a stress test (at the time I was in my mid 50's) the stress test found serious blockages (2) on both sides of my aorta; o heart surgery saved my life
