My daughter saw him for a sick visit and he couldn’t have been more unprofessional. I came to see him because my daughter had high fevers (103) for three days straight consistently. As soon as Advil/Tylenol wore off her fever would spike back up. I stress to him my concerns of her appetite declining because it hurt to swallow and would pull on her ears. He said her ears were clear and that it was viral and there was nothing to do. I asked could it be that the ear infection is starting and just can’t see it yet and to start her on an antbx. His response was I know your anxious but like I said I’m not putting her on an antbx bc it’s viral and her ears are clear and if her fevers persist to Monday to come back and see him. I was very upset leaving the office as I knew there was something wrong with my child. For someone who specializes in taking care of children let alone sick ones you would think he be more caring and empathetic.
Incredibly short and rude in every single visit to both the parent and the child.
Ive been seeing Dr. Schaumberger now for at least 15 years. When one of my sons were sick at around 10 months old he listened to his chest for AT LEAST 15 mims and then called in another dr to make sure he heard the same thing. My son ended up needing a nebulizer but since that day i have never wanted any other dr for my kids. he was so thorough. i now live an hour and a half away and still take all of my 5 kids there. Hes the best!
Dr. Schaumberger misdiagnosed my 2 year old daughter on several occasions, constantly dismissing her symptoms as "colds which just need to run their course". She wound up with bronchitis on one occasion & in the ER with pneumonia on another occasion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
