Monmouth Eye Care's Online Review Report Card

The office is over booked. Even their associate doctor can't see you in an emergency apparently. I can't get an answer on a report to see an eye doctor on a brain scan. It's awful. They won't squeeze you in. I also do not like that a tech does most of the acuity portion of your exam. All I need is a pressure check which the tech does. I am sure that could be done, if they wanted. Further, in the past. I was told I needed to be seen for an eye infection, but all I needed was an antibiotic ointment or drop. They would squeeze me in for that. Or have time built in for that minor emergency. I opted to call my medical doctor who sent me a script. Now, I am on a goose chase with their associate doctor who I was sent to see. But, the office refused me until they speak to Monmouth Eye Care. I am being put under a lot of extra stress, that I do not need at this moment.

Just recently had my visit with Dr. MacDonald and he was fantastic. Super thorough, proactive with a "we'll figure this out attitude." I was immediately at ease. I wish every doctor was like this. He did not rush me like most doctors seem to do nowadays. Facility is very clean, spacious, and updated with state of the art equipment. The receptionists were very kind both on the phone and in person. I highly recommend Monmouth Eye Care.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Mani. She is impressive. Very knowledgeable, but also kind and compassionate.

Dr. Macdonald has cared for my eyes and my health for over a decade. After numerous Manhattan specialists failed to diagnose a simple issue, Dr. Macdonald identified it within minutes of my exam. Always personal, professional, truthful and frank, Dr. Macdonald and his team take their time, make you feel at ease and provide you with top-notch, state of the art care.

Additionally, the equipment is state of the art, and the eyeglass selection is fantastic. Plus, they carry a wide range of contact lenses -- ensuring that I can look good, see well, and be comfortable in my eyewear selections!

Dr MacDonald performed my laser surgery approximately 17 years ago. I still do not need glasses. It was an amazing experience and I could not be happier with office staff and the Doctors I have seen. I highly recommend Dr MacDonald!

Our family members have complex visions issues, but Doctor Macdonald has always correctly diagnosed the problems and found the right solutions.
