I love attending the NJPN annual conference! I have attended now for the past 4 years. Even now with it virtual it is the absolute best learning experience. I just finished watching it on demand. Great opportunity for networking as well.
Great NPO!!! Their weekly Confab email/discussions get really experienced/well rounded people to share. The classes they offer for CEUS are impressive (as of recently). Their annual conference was extremely well done. I have taken 3 offerings of NJPN and eachwere well rounded and well taught with an emphasis on culture/diversity. NJPN has done a wonderful job transitioning with COVID.Shout out to Jenna for crushing it!I can't speak directly to what the previous comment is about. Nor can I speak to communication between office and me. I suppose, the quality of each class depends on the teacher, and sounds like the previous commenter was unlucky.
Not all instructors for the cadc courses are very strong. What's more, they do not embrace a diverse culture, and even go as far as to have students removed who do not give positive reviews on mandatory weekly evaluations. Staff at NJPN do not return calls. NJPN also has not done anything to address these issues. In my estimation, it would be better to go to a legitimate college for such trainings. What's more, there is very little training in actual counseling offered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
