They put me through every chargeable procedure in their repertoire. After 7 months of treatment, I felt worse than when I was first examined. Beware.

The office is terrible.

Shore Orthopedic THUMBS DOWN!!! I tried to call and make an appointment for my daughter. I pressed the prompt for billing so I could confirm they were in network for my insurance and the person who was suppose to answer kept picking up the phone and hanging up. I am going to go with this is a blessing in disguise.

I made an appointment with Dr. Rathi because I have to generative disc disorder and my doctor wanted me to see him for pain management shots for my spine. I called this morning to see when my appointment will be made for the injections because I couldn’t make my appointment for some reason at the facility so I had to call at a later time. The lady who answered the phone cannot be any more rude and I feel like that’s very disrespectful for a patient who is in severe pain calling to see when her appointment will be made because I can simply not take the pain. I was very nice to her on the phone and then she completely shut me up and silence me so I think that’s very rude and very unprofessional. She then stated that I couldn’t make my own appointment time with the surgery center that they would call me a day before and I think that’s seriously unacceptable because I have things I have to do and I have things that I need to plan accordingly to this injection but she was very rude about it and then explain that I have to have a Covid test before I get my injections every single time I get my injections I wasn’t aware of this when I was in their office if I was then I would’ve seen a different doctor. Dr. Raffey is a wonderful man he seems like a nice doctor however he should get his staff in check

The best caring physician

The doctors here treat you like an insurance claim, not a patient. You’ll book an appointment and walk in to find 3 other people waiting on the same appointment time you are, and a plethora of others who also have hour+ waits. They overbook constantly and do very little but tell you how much they can’t do because of insurance. The staff behind the desk are rather rude and unprofessional pretty much all the time, but not all of them. I asked the lady who deals with the prescriptions, a question about my prescription to which she replied “I don’t know anything about that” which seems to be a pretty consistent thing with her, that and her constant attitude about questions being asked about THE JOB SHES THERE FOR. This place sucks, save your time and money.

Dr. Rathi is great - he will spend time with you, is concerned about helping, very knowledgeable. This should be a 5-star rating, but his staff is useless - unhelpful, unprofessional, and do not seem to know their jobs.

Dr. Rathi has given me a few epidurals and trigger point injections. I was told in my late 20's that I would require major spine surgery. I had a few other doctors attempt to manage my discomfort. Dr. Rathi spent time with me, agreed with the other physicians, but was willing to try to help. Almost 10 years later I still haven't reached the point where I have been unable to tolerate the pain, I haven't had the surgery, and still lead an active lifestyle. I can't thank Dr. Rathi and his staff enough. I highly recommend him to anyone with lumbar issues!

Apparently this doctor feels his patients' time is not as valuable as his. As I was waiting in the examining room, he was in the hallway talking to sales reps. who admitted that they arrived unannounced during patient hours but they had to show him something that was the latest and greatest for his patients. After almost a half hour of listening to their sales pitch and not being seen by the doctor, I decided to leave and demand my payment back. To this date, I have not received a phone call or an acknowledgment of his rudeness.

I like the doctor, but his office staff is less than professional. I was 18 minutes late and told I had to reschedule or wait an hour when they come back from lunch. I have waited an hour to see him, but I guess it does not work both ways. Every time I call to reschedule I get an answering machine.
