I was extremely impressed with Dr. Maxwell. She really knows her stuff! I went to her with an issue that had been on-going for months. She was able to diagnose it immediately and prescribe the proper treatment. No kidding. She is good and her medical experience shows. Highly recommended!

Dr. Maxwell delivered my first baby and was wonderful throughout the experience. I recently saw her for a well woman exam and she was thorough, kind and answered all questions I had on family planning. Would highly recommend!

I was very pleased to find Dr. Maxwell. It's hard to find a good gynocologist and moving from up north, I realized I couldn't keep driving 3 hrs round trip to go to my old doctor. I was grateful to find her.

My mother called the number after hours , she was in excruciating pain and was bleeding heavily. This doctor was very annoyed she had to even call my mother back and all she could say was “ go to a chiropractor “. Turns out after a few tests my mother has stage IV uterine cancer. TERRIBLE

Worst experience I’ve ever had. During the pap exam I told her that the pain was excruciating. Her remark was that it hursts everyone. I have never experienced pain like that with an exam. Long story short, I continued to have pain while urinating. Then horrible pelvic pain that went into my legs. After numerous doctors and eventually a bladder biopsy. It was determined that my bladder was torn and bleeding. 2 months later I still have pain. I had a healthy bladder before seeing Dr. Maxwell. When I wanted to come in and discuss the matter with Dr Sutherland I was told I had to PAY for the appointment. Appalling to say the least. No human caring whatsoever. I would think twice before letting this woman touch me.

I went to Dr Maxwell for a routine internal and Pap smear. It was the most excruciating Pap smear I ever had. When I told her how bad it hurt, her response was” it hurts everybody “!!! From that moment on I started experiencing pain and bleeding. After numerous trips to the ER including a bladder biopsy. It was determined I had bleeding in the lining of my bladder. Beware , ladies. Consider yourself warned. Do not use this doctor. It is 2 months after the pap and I still have pain.

I saw Dr Maxwell for a routine exam and Pap smear. When I told her how badly the pap hurt, her response to me “it hurts everyone “. From that moment on I experienced excruciating pain and bleeding. After several trips to the ER and to a urologist who performed a bladder biopsy because my bladder was so red and inflamed, it was determined that I have bleeding in the lining of my bladder. It is 2 months later and I still have pain. When I wanted to go in and discuss this with the head of North Dover Ob-Gyn in Toms River NJ, I was told that I would have to pay for the appointment. I found that appalling. Especially since I am paying off over $1000 in medical bills already. Before seeing Dr. Maxwell I had a healthy bladder. Now there are many things I can’t do without pain.

Dr Maxwell is very personable and professional.

This is the worst doctor I've ever seen. I have severe pcos and was raped by the last gyno I saw. When I broke was having flashbacks and crying because I was scared the exam she was mean, cold, and essentially said if I can't do it then I have to leave. She didn't do anything for my symptoms, didn't make any recommendations, was not empathetic... She could have at least given me ideas about how to treat the symptoms OTC. She also tryed to pry intimate details about the assault from me when I was distressed, in front of the nurses, then told my comforting bf who was my chaperone (which im legally entitled to) that he needs to leave the room, while she and her nurse harassed and retraumatized me. One in four women have been sexually abused or assaulted. One in four women: this practice is not for you.
