He’s a good Dr but you have to fight with him to get your prescriptions filled. Waiting time to get in the exam room is horrendous. I definitely recommend searching for another Medical Dr like I did. After 20 years years I just had enough and 💯 made the right decision leaving him. My new Dr welcomed me like I’ve been seeing him for years. 👏👏

Dr. Desai is a awesome doctor. He has what I call the "old school ways". He actually pays attention to what you are saying and does not stare at a computer the entire time. He does not shpve medicine down your throat and is incredibly sweet.

I have never met this doctor but if I was able to rate him ZERO stars, I would have. My 93 year old mother was hospitalized at Community Medical Center in Toms River from 12/3 to 12/7. She was in isolation so we were unable to visit her. Dr Desai was the attending doctor. We had absolutely NO communication with him regarding my mothers condition. I left messages at the hospital to please have him call us to no avail. I then called his office and left a detailed message with his receptionist. No call was ever made. My mother was discharged on 12/7 without ANY communication between the attending physician and her family. I find this inexcusable and a total disgrace.

Terrible service. Front desk staff is rude especially the manager. Very unprofessional, I would recommend any other place besides this one.

I find Dr. Desai very caring & friendly. When I get sick his staff always gets me in...Dr. knows his stuff..His staff can sound gruff but they are really friendly. I say give him a try!! PS. I never have to wait to long to get in for my appointment.

Refused to see us to follow up after a car accident ER overnight, because he didn't want to deal with car insurance as he might not get paid. What an awful office.

Dr. Desai has been my primary physician for many years, and was my parents' primary physician in their later years. The care Dr. Desai has given me has been everything I could hope for. He listens to all of my concerns and even asks questions based on 'reading between the lines'. When my father was dying, Dr. Desai's calm, comforting bedside manner eased our worries and helped us to make the appropriate decisions at critical times. I truthfully trust Dr. Desai with my life and would seek his counsel for any important medical decision, including decisions that did not deal directly with internal medicine!
