Best doctor. Saved my son's life

I can't even begin to express my gratitude for the excellent bedside manner we've received. As a mom at her wit's end of a 15 year old preemie who is 1 lb 14 oz at Birth and struggles with everyday things that most of us take for granted, occasionally you feel defeated. Not knowing where to go or what to do we booked an appointment with Dr. Okouneva. After the first visit I knew that she was nothing but business she ordered testings and blood work right away. She is patient knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding and best of all willing to listen. Not once did I feel rushed, undermined or not valued in my thoughts and concerns. It's a rarity to find that in a doctor nowadays. I just have to say it's the first time I've been able to breathe in a long time. Thank you so much for all you do. We are extremely blessed to have her! We were seen in the Toms River office of Children's Specialized Hospital.
