The wirst doctor I have ever experienced. Didn’t read my chart and was totally unprepared prior to suggested surgery.

I am not sure where some of these reviews are coming from. Dr . Joyce is always honest and forthcoming with his responses. He deeply cares about his patients and tries to get to know them as a "person" and not just a patient. I honestly don't see why anyone would have a problem with a doctor who cares to want to know about who you are. I have recommended Dr. Joyce to all of my family and friends and will continue to do so! Thank you Dr. Joyce for your humanistic treatment of your patients!

Horrible I was in community medical center and he walks into my room never introduce himself I had to guess he was the pulmonologist why he asked me if I was married,divorced or single I have no idea then tells me he was going check my X-ray never came back to the room. Never told me his name. Needless to say he came back the next day and I through him out of my room he deserves no stars

Caring compassionate Practitioner. Knowledgeable. Explains disease process and plan of care. As a nurse case manager highly recommend Dr. Joyce to family and clients. I have known him for many years.

Not only the best pulmonologist I have seen, but the best doctor overall. Cares about his patients, takes time to listen to and address patient's concerns. Glad I found him.

Dr. Joyce was patient, he took the time to explain everything about my concerns. He was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

From the very first visit, the receptionist was completely rude and her behavior was aggressive and condescending. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and I have never come across such unprofessional heartless behavior. It's hard enough having to through such a trying time in my life and to be face with such opposition and a hostile attitude from the first person you see when you enter the office in a shame! The Doctor himself was friendly and seemed knowledgeable but unfortunately due to the multiple negative encounters with the receptionist at this office, I will not be going back!

I hope his family never has to hear results as terrible as we received from someone as aloof and matter-of-fact as he was with us. We had to pull the word cancer out of him. When we finally came out and asked him if it was cancer, his response was, Yea, I would think so. Then proceeded to write a script for a biopsy as if he was handing us his grocery list. It was devastating. What's worse, he knew the pain my father was in due to his cancer spreading, but took much too long to supply relief

Staff is wonderful but doctor lacks people skills no eye contact to busy typing on computer. Doesn't ask questions and shows no empathy to your distress. Felt like I was not taken seriously and a waste of his time. He really needs to sit and FACE his patients and LISTEN! Rude and abrupt...
