List of Narciso D. Mendoza's Reviews
Went to Dr Mendoza when I came home from college to continue allergy shots. When I went back to school allergy Dr. told me Dr Mendoza was injecting me with expired material since 6/3/16. Doctor at school told me there was not enough material in the viles for all injections. They asked me what was Dr Mendoza injecting me with? I called Dr Mendoza, he said he never checked the date on the viles. Dr Mendoza billed ins.co. for office visit every visit. Months later got big copay bill from Mendoza
Dr Mendoza injected my daughter with an expired allergy vile for 2 1/2 months and the wrong doses. When my daughter returned to University of Alabama and tried to continue her shots the incompetence of Dr Mendoza was revealed. If I could give him less than one star I would.
I was deeply troubled after “seeing” this physician. The fiasco started on my first visit to his Toms River office. My appointment time was at 11:30 am of which I showed up around 11:18 am. The room reeked a weird and stale odor. The majority of his patients appeared to be elderly as in the waiting room there were 3 elderly folk. The relevancy of this statement will be clear later. I ended up waiting until 12:07 pm until the secretary called me into an exam room. The room was almost as depressing as my experience: the walls were a lethargic gray. Anyway, she informed me that my insurance was “out of state” and thus Narciso Mendoza did not wish to see me until billing could confirm that the insurance would pay. I informed her that I was on my parent’s plan (who reside exclusively in Toms River NJ), this issue has never occurred before, and that I had successfully used this insurance card 2 day before with my family doctor. Disregarding this, she then asked me why I put the location of employment outside of New Jersey. I explained to her that I would be interning outside of New Jersey for the summer. Her demeanor notably deteriorated and she began asking me how I would return in three weeks for a follow up visit. Why on earth I would need a follow-up visit in three weeks confuses me. She directed me back to the waiting room. Once I was in the waiting room, she proceeded to have a conversation with who I assumed to be Dr. Mendoza in a foreign language. At around 12:22 pm, I was brought back into the exam room. She informed me that the doctor has not changed his mind and that he will need time to, and I quote, “Study the insurance”. Why on earth a doctor needs to study his patient’s insurance completely bewilders me. She then stated the doctor could see me Wednesday, May 25th at 9:30 am. Despite having wasted nearly 90 minutes of my time, I conceded and left. However, the experience even deteriorated further. In my 22 years of living, never have I had a doctor behave in such a disrespectful manner. On the morning of May 25th at approximately 8:30 am, I received a phone call from his secretary informing me that “Dr. Mendoza is unfortunately too busy to see you at 9:30 am. He is willing to see you at 4 pm if you are available”. At this point, I was fed up. I informed her that I was too busy to see him (I actually was as I had a dental appointment at 4:30 pm in Brick) and told her I would not be rescheduling. Clearly, I was treated rudely. Little concern was shown for my health or my time. I was herded back and forth like an animal, and told that the doctor was too “busy” to see me. However, the most disturbing realization occurred when I noticed two things: 1. That the majority of Dr. Mendoza’s patients are elderly 2. That he and his staff clearly emphasize seeing his patients frequently, typically every 3 weeks
could barely understand him past his heavy accent. kinda of rude. told me allergies were all "psychological"
I've been a patient of Dr. Mendoza for over 6 years. He has also treated my husband and parents. He is wonderful and caring and very helpful. His treatments got me off allergy medicine and he shows care for overall health and throws a really nice christmas party every year.
I have been taking my son to Dr. Mendoza for about a year now. He is so caring. I feel like I am going to a family member's office and not just a doctor. He makes you feel that way. And he truly wants to make you better. He's wonderful.
Wonderful, CARING doctor!
To make it short, does not know his stuff. Always stuck waiting. Treated me for asthma and allergies that wasn't necessary according to a reputable specialist elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
