My disabled daughter went to see Dr. Pensak twice. The last time was on December 9,2024. She was complaining of shoulder pain shooting down to her elbow and wrist. He gave her cortisone injecjections in both her shoulder and wrists on her first visit. This calmed down her pain but eventually it came back. On the last appointment he ordered an MRI of shoulder which revealed osteoarthritis. She told him again that her wrist was very painful. At that time she was wearing a wrist brace. She had swelling and pain and he dismissed her. My daughter stated that it seemed that the doctor was not taking her seriously. Well I was recommended to take her to another orthopedic who did take my daughter seriously. He sent her for a wrist MRI and found that she had Kienbock's Disease. She has surgery last week. Enough said.

My father was seen and operated on by Dr. Kasper for a hip replacement. He was put on blood thinners when he was released from the hospital for two weeks. At his follow up appointment he was told to stop taking Eliquis, the blood thinner and to start taking aspirin. It was documented that my father had an allergy to aspirin. He’s had multiple ulcers and other negative effects of aspirin. Now he is bleeding when he urinates. What kind of medical professional tells a patient to take a medication with a known allergy? Never consider this doctor. He should lose his medical license due to malpractice.

Wonderful surgeons, I have been a patient for a long time. However, they are not available when a patient needs them! A two to three month wait for an appointment is unacceptable when a patient is in pain. The doctors are never available to respond to phone calls . Physician assistants make determinations about your need to see the doctors. Unfortunately, I've decided to go elsewhere for these reasons.

Outstanding! Dr. Pensacola is fantastic. I broke my elbow by tripping over a flip flop in June, Dr. Pensacola had me back at by mid August. Excellent work. Thank you Ocean Orthopedic.

awful practice. nasty on the phone, put in the wrong ID and got a bill 2 years later. never bothered to call or email, just sent it to Collections. telling everyone I know to stay away from these people.

Dr. Michael Pensak is a wonder, highly skilled orthopedist. I am so happy that I found him to help repair my fractured wrist. He got me back on my hands again quickly!! Besides being such a skilled professional, his compassion through this horrible time for me was beyond the call of duty. I hope I never have to go through something like this again, but.... There's only one doctor for me. The staff at Ocean Orthopedic are also highly skilled professionals. Such a refreshing find. Thank you, Tiffany, for holding my other hand through this.
