Dr.Alcasid is simply amazing. My lungs collapsed 3 times and he has spent the last 5 years trying to figure out why. He has been by my side everytime I end up in the hospital with lung issues. He's a caring doctor and he knows his stuff.

If you happen to have the ailments he wants to treat he is fine. If you fall out of the norm as most of us do you are better served elsewhere where the doctor actually listens to you.

I went to him for his sleep specialty.I was put on a medication. when I returned for my follow up I asked him if i could have a refill since it was working. He said " that not what we do here" he said that if i return in a month and still have sleeping problems then he would have to "refer me out" to a cognitive behavioral therapist. I didn't return. Why would I want to develop a mental health history by going to a therapist because I have a little trouble sleeping? especially when meds work

Dr. Alcasid is very thorough and takes the time to explain his findings and also explain to you what you need to do to correct your ailment. When a test is done, You hear back from him...Not an office worker. He takes the time to contact you himself. Hard to find a doctor like this nowadays.

Wife was diagnosed year ago with nsip Dr or no one in office ever called to see how she is doing or even alive very cold

Very nice doctor. Patient, listens, and gives information. My mother is currently in his care and between him and his office staff they have been very helpful and accommodating to her needs and my needs. They have helped us both understand what is happening with her care every step of the way, making it easier to help her and keep her in a positive state of mind whatever the outcome may be.
