List of Peter C. Howard's Reviews
For three weeks, my husband was calling the office to get a refill of a medication. The pharmacy did not note any refills and the office said they have sent the refills. After over a dozen phone calls to both places to try and remedy the situation, the receptionist hung up on my husband. He asked to speak to the office manager who was beyond rude and spoke over him, not even giving a chance to hear how frustrating it is that no one in the office is helping him fix the problem. He then asked to speak to Dr. Howard and was told he was not allowed to leave him a voicemail. Dr. Howard did call back...saying it's not his concern. How is an inefficient office not your concern? The doctor stated that this 2 minute phone call was a waste of his time and he is too busy for that. How about your patient's time? Is your two minutes to speak to a patient worth more than ours when your office couldn't simply call the pharmacy to see what the mix-up was instead of throwing away each message that was left? Disgustingly arrogant.
Patient, understanding, and VERY informative. I had a question after meeting with a specialist and I called him for his opinion. He called me back almost immediately and spent time going over what I was dealing with. I was able to make a decision on the best path FOR ME--
Dr Howard is the best. I have been going to him for years with no regrets. He takes his time explaining everything and I am very happy with his explanations. He has even visited me in the hospital on a weekend. The office staff is always very helpful.
If I could give a negative zero I would. For six months I’ve been put on long holds only to be hung up on for hours on end for my mother AND my husband. My mother is 84 and in pain and has waited 6 days for a urine test in office to reveal results! The office staff is inadequate and once I got Dr Howard on the phone to ask why it has taken 3 months for his office to authorize my husband’s medication his answer included the juvenile phrase of “whatever”. Ocean County medicine at its finest. Take your loved one to ANYONE ELSE!
Dr Howard is amazing doctor with a fantastic staff. I’ve seen him several times and always a very good experience. Outstanding bedside manors and a compassionate man!! Thank you Dr Howard and staff!! I wish all doctors were just as good!

Dr Howard and his office staff are amazing. They are very efficient and professional. Dr Peter Howard preformed a vasectomy on me 8 years ago and it went perfect. No pain or recovery. I went for a routine appoint today and was greeted by cheerful staff. They stayed true to there appoint time, even with an office full of patience I only wait 5 minutes to be seen. The check out process was also fast and efficient. Highly recommend Dr Howard and his office. Thnak you Anthony
Please update your address. You are listed as 37 west suite 1. You are 37 east suite 2. Very confusing and made us late for my father's appointment
I have been seeing Dr Howard for about 2 and a half years. I always liked him, but I have frequent Urinary Track infections and he doesn't prescribe anything to clear them up. I have an auto immune system disease and therefore I get UTI's a lot. I am on a treatment that lowers my immune system. This means that my system can't always fight off infections. I really don't think that he is doing me much good! I recently saw him and they took a urine sample. When he came in to the room where I was, he said: we found a small amount of blood in your urine. I wasn't sure what he was going to say next but he said it could be an infection, or it could be Cancer... WOW, I was shocked. He said they were sending it out to be tested. At this point, I a sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear back from him. I am seriously thinking of looking for another Urologist!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
