I visited Dr Priya for a general check up of my kidneys but I immediately felt like she’s been my personal GP for all my life.. She was very attentive to all my enquiries and took all her time to give me detailed answers. I’ve recommended her to a friend and would have not done it, if I was not so satisfied and was not 100% sure of her competency. MRK
Dr A is very knowledgeable and caring. She has an excellent bedside manner. Her health care recommendations for my kidney disease have been right on. She has also been able to recommend other doctors for my other health issues, which have turned out to be excellent!
I been a patient of Dr A for over 13 years. She has helped me thru a miracle pregnancy after diagnosed with chronic ESRD. She has been thru every struggle I had to deal with nothing but compassion, empathy, kindness, she always makes me laugh and has a positive attitude. I moved from the area and still drive over an hour to see her once a month and will not change doctors. Her staff are the best!
Over the years I struggled with High Blood Pressure and seen many Kidney doctors as my insurance and network changed every year. She is the best kidney doctor I have seen , and have a very good attitude always smiling and relieving me from white coat syndrome.
One of the kindest and most down to earth doctors I've ever encountered. Love her.
Dr Anantharayan takes here time and shows that she cares for my health. I will recommend her to friends.
Dr. Anantharaman is knowledgeable, honest, kind, and positive. I have Stage III Chronic Kidney Disease and am grateful to have her as my doctor. She keeps me calm and focused on wellness.
I have never seen Dr. Anantharayan. I called this morning to schedule my first appointment. The receptionist was not very helpful of nice. I explained that I had verified that the doctor was in network with my insurance and I wanted to double check with the office to confirm that. The receptionist seemed annoyed that I asked and wend on to tell me they take a lot of insurance plans and had no idea if they took mine. I would have to call a separate number to verify that or to call my insurance again. I went on to make my appointment, and she asked when a good time was. I said that depends how far out she is booked. Again, she sounded annoyed. She told me she can't tell me that. And just needed to know if mornings or afternoons were better. I explained my schedule is hectic, that if you could give me an idea of how far out she is booked I could tell you. She continued to make me feel like I should have a better answer of my schedule for her. I mean, I asked about insurance and you have NO IDEA if you take that. I ask how far out you are booked and you have NO IDEA. She can't even estimate 1-2 wks or months out???? But you are going to get annoyed that I don't know if morning or afternoon is better. Right there, I went with my gut and decided not to book an appointment with a person who has made me feel uncomfortable with out even stepping foot in the door. I work for a doctors office. I have for 20 years. I would never make my patients feel like that.
Meet Dr. A in Point Pleasant satellite emergency room, (she came to the emergency room because of the severity of my situation), within minuets she had me diagnosed and knew I had a life threatening allergic reaction causing renal failure. I was not a patient of hers at the time this happened, but due to her dedication, experience, and knowledge I'm alive today without any organ damage. DR. A saved my life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
