Over 60 minutes wait. Poor communication skills. Negative and dour disposition.

First he kept me waiting over 60 minutes. Then he wouldn’t answer any questions I had except to say he needed to see tests. I understand that but he could have given me more information than “don’t eat fatty foods.” He also gave me a lecture on my Afib which was not why I was seeing him. I have a cardiologist for that. I found him to be a very dour and negative man. Also he was difficult to understand ...

Dr Lokchander is the BEST!

Dr Lokchander is the absolute BEST! He is intelligent, patient and does not just address Gastro issues. He’s an amazing physician! Highly recommend.

VERY KIND AND LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS

On May 1, 2018, my 75-year old wife had the first colonoscopy of her life. She had lived in good health for her first 74 years. As a result to a visit to a local hospital (Ocean Medical in Brick, NJ) the attending physician at Ocean Medical suggested that my wife of 53-years was long-overdue for a colonoscopy just to make sure she was not in danger of serious health issues. My wife (Kathy) had no clue as to whom she should make an appointment to consider having a doctor's appointment with. Thus, Kathy spoke with her loving sister and long-time registered nurse (Ann) about her (Kathy's) medical challenge and the recommendation of the doctor at Ocean Medical in Brick (NJ). Without hesitation, Ann gave Kathy a very positive recommendation of Dr. Rangaswamy Lokchander because of his well-earned professionalism, medical knowledge, and caring attitude. After a doctor's visit with Dr. Lokchander -- Kathy's colonoscopy was scheduled for and occurred on May 1st, 2018. Initially the results were not encouraging. The follow-up doctor's visit on the Wednesday after Mother's Day (May 16, 2018) proved to be a delightful, joyous visit with the very kind and capable Dr. Lokchander. What we discovered was that God had answered our prayers for good final results even though the initial indications were not very encouraging immediately after the colonoscopy. However, at the follow-up in-person visit with Dr. Lokchander, we (Kathy, our youngest daughter, Kallie, and I) each discovered what a wonderful man and doctor Dr. Lokchander actually is -- just as my sister-in-law (Ann) had previously stated regarding this very caring God-gifted doctor who has been gifted by God in order to protect his patient as best he can. The final results at that follow-up consultation were very positive and wonderfully confirmed by a follow-up colonoscopy again performed by Dr. Lokchander on Kathy's behalf on July 12, 2018. As a result of our experiences with Dr. Lokchander -- my wife (Kathy), our five adult-children, our 15 grand-children, and I (Kathy's husband) -- are thankful to God that he has gifted Dr. Lokchander with the mind, commitment to professional excellence, and a caring heart dedicated to the health and lives of his patients and to the very noble calling as a man to be used by God to be a blessing to many. Gratefully to God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and to Dr. Rangaswamy Lokchander and his staff who do their caring good work for many here in Toms River (NJ). We also thank nurse (Ann) and the doctor at Ocean Medical for his suggestion that Kathy set an appointment with a gastroenterologist. Thanks to all.

Dr. Lokchander is an excellent physician. Thorough, attentive and explains everything thoroughly. His assistant Wendy Stratton is the greatest! I would highly recommend them.
