Dr. Chu is a knowledgeable cardiologist and is very thorough in his diagnoses. However, the office staff is terrible. You can never reach a live person, messages are never returned and prescription refills are a nightmare. The only time they answer is to schedule a visit or a test. And, there must be at least 7 people at the front desk. Not what you would expect from such a large practice.

Dr. Chu saved my life! I was in the hospital with Rapid Afib 180 bpm. He worked with me every day balancing out the new meds he gave me until my heart was under control enough to be shocked. He was so very kind and pleasant, I'm very grateful to him and Dr. Gill!

Very high-handed, treats patient like idiot, does not ask questions therefore could properly diagnose an important issue, too quick to schedule expensive and unnecessary SHG tests, and much to quick to threaten to install stents - with no knowledge of patients medical background.

Very high-handed, treats patient like an idiot, does not ask questions to get to the bottom of discrepancies in EKGs five days apart, tries to sell patient on expensive and unnecessary tests, and arbitrarily threatens to place stents in heart. Goodbye and good riddance

Purpose of visit: cardiac clearance for surgery. Had normal EKG from medical center conducted five days prior. Did not review; did another EKG, result borderline. Did not ask any questions to get to bottom of discrepancy (alcoholic beverage consumed with lunch probably adversely impacted - DUH). Instead scheduled unnecessary and expensive test and threatened to place stent in heart. ???? Goodbye and good riddance.

Dr Chu is very nice, but since my discovery of CAD he has not been attentive in my follow up nor investigative in improving my health. The office, Shore Heart Grp, seems to be disorganized in refilling meds.

Took his time with Dad. Calmly answered questions and explained results. Very patient and gave clear explanations.

My wife has had 2 heart attacks and High Blood Pressure. Dr. Chu was excellent in explaining the difference between an Angiogram and a Cardio Test and then setting up the Cardio Test. He also thoroughly explained the different blood pressure medications and used the computer to provide details. In addition, a very nice, polite and kind person in helping my wife and listening to her needs and symptoms. A Great Doctor! **A+++++**
