Excellent doctor visit.

office staff needs to be replaced - needs to have a NP in the office daily

I have been seeing Dr. Wynkoop for 10 yrs now and have been to 3 of his 5 convenient locations. Every visit to all 3 locations has always been a pleasure. He has an amazing staff that happily tends to any questions or needs you may have. Dr. Wynkoop himself is amazing at his job. While being the professional that he his, he also has an incredibly friendly demeanor and sense of humor. He makes you feel comfortable with his vast knowledge and wit. He takes his time, is very thorough, and genuinely cares about you.

Dr. Wynkoop and his staff are amazing! They are informative, professional, compassionate, and friendly. Dr. Wynkoop is a breath of fresh air in the medical community.

I met Dr. Wynkoop about two years ago. One is always wary when seeing a new physician because you do not know what they will do. Even though i questioned what he was suggesting he was calm and told me "well we will see". So he turned out to be right - don't you hate that! He is a doctor that listens to what you say and does his best not to pass judgment.

Unfortunately I never meet the Doctor. After a CT scan my doctor said to have a small nodule checked out. I have no symptoms, i walk 5 miles 3 days a week. I called for a appt., right away I need a test. With insurance and deductibles i wanted to know how much the test would cost out of pocket. I couldn't get any help from the office help. If the doctor had examined the CT scan, meet and examined me and recommended a test it may have been different. But why spend money on a test if you are ok.

In the Lacey office there is a woman by the name of Wendy, who answers the telephone occasionally I never, and I mean never, have had a problem with the Toms River office, but Dr. Wynkoop's Lacey office has a very rude woman answering the phone by the name of Wendy. My father Antonino Genovese is elderly and was attempting to explain to Wendy his situation regarding medicine that had been ordered by Dr. Wynkoop. The woman Wendy was cutting him off almost after every word he said and he was very upset about this. My father is 82 years old, and dying and to know that someone is treating him unkindly upsets me and upsets my family when they were told about this. My father is never rude to a soul. So I know that it wasn't him that was getting nasty with this woman. I will tell you something, and tell it very simply... I do not accept, allow, or condone her actions towards him. I am a very understanding individual and I'd give the woman the benefit of the doubt had the case been that she was having a terrible day...then I'd just let it go. However my father called twice and I told him to put her on speaker phone so I could hear her demeanor and boy I will tell you something, she was so unprofessional that I felt as if I was calling complaining about food at a local McDonalds...that's her level of professionalism. The Lord Jesus asks that we forgive the wrong doings of other human beings, and as a good Catholic I do. But I am planning on speaking with the Dr. Himself regarding this situation that upset my father. I can only imagine how many other elderly people this has happened to that are not going to come forward because number one, I highly doubt a very elderly person would figure out how to write a review of this Dr's staff. Number two, I plan to create a Facebook page that will give the elderly a voice without having to just deal with RUDE PEOPLE. I ask that anyone reading this who has elderly parents or take care of the elderly to please check back here for more information on the upcoming webpage. This person was perhaps the most rude, and disrespectful person that I've heard in a very long time, especially at a Dr's office. Within the next couple months, by Summer's end, I will have my father's doctor changed and will never go back there...the sad thing is that the Dr. is a well mannered person but unfortunately he has chosen the wrong person to be his secretary, helper, assistant, whatever it is that she does. If the individual that spoke to my father happens to read this...well before you even think of being upset at this review let me ask you this Wendy, "What if this was YOUR father?"

Other than me having to wait 45 mins. Inside the Dr. examination room.After I was told,the Dr. will be in,in a few mins......However after seeing the Dr. Wynkoop I forgot about the waiting. Due to the fact that this man couldn't do enough to explain my condition,took his time, was extremely knowledgeable, and his bedside manor was excellent! Not to mention the fact that he has a wonderful personality......He was a breath of fresh air in comparison to other Physicians I have seen in the past. And I also found the staff to be very helpful and courteous.

Made an appointment and had to wait OUTSIDE the office because "the staff was out to lunch". The office staff were a bunch of stiffs but Dr. Wynkoop himself is great.

Dr. Wynkoop has a great bed side manner and great knowlegde. Listens to you and helps you made a plan that works for your lung disease. Would reccommend him to friends and family. The only complaint is that the Toms River office staff is not personable. Miss the old receptionist Janet that was awesome.
