List of Haroon Sarwar's Reviews
What a disconcerting disappointment. Obviously, some people, for whatever reason, are in the wrong field. I didn't want to post this negative review since it's been quite a while since my visit to Dr. Sarwar. But then I realized recently after seeing an excellent specialist, that it was absolutely necessary. Please spare yourself from future pain and see a real... specialist in Rheumatology.I'm so... glad that I found one in Dr. J. L. of Skyland's Rockaway. Now, he's what i call a WOW and a 5 star specialist.
Dr sarwar is rude, condescending, does not return calls and has no real knowledge. Do not waste your time.
I have had RA since 1993, so I’ve been to many rheumatologists, and driven many miles to get to them. When I found out that there was a rheumatologist in my home town, I was overjoyed. Dr Sarwar is without a doubt the best RA specialist I have even seen. I’ve been pain free w/o a flare for years thanks to him. Staff is professional and compassionate too.
Don’t know why I waited so long to see him. This doctor was amazing. He was compassionate and warm, knowledgeable and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
I just saw Dr. Haroon. I couldn't be happier with the experience. He was understanding, spent time listening, and explained everything in detail. I would recommend this doctor to my best friend.
Hates women....we are all mentally unwell and require pyschiatric assistance. What a bufoon
Rude, condescending, blatant dislike of women, questions your audacity to make an appointment...subjugating, NO HELP AT ALL!!! Hated Him!!!!!
Dr Sarwar likes to punish his patients by withholding medication when you forget about appointments. My issues make my brain foggy so I often forget and I don’t always get a reminder call. You would think that the Dr would be more understanding about issues that he is actually treating, but that is entirely not the case. He won’t even write a script to get you to your next appointment! Not the greatest Dr!
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I leave the office in tears or frustrating almost every time. During my most recent appt. he stood with his arms crossed almost the entire time and literally asked me why I was asking him questions. He actually seemed thoroughly annoyed I was asking questions. This is my health; of course I'm going to ask questions! As a doctor, he should be able to answer any and all of my questions regarding the reason why I'm there. I'm utterly shocked a doctor would treat a patient the way I was treated. I almost walked out of the room during the middle of the appt because I felt so disrespected. I've expressed to him more than once that I do not want to take medication but instead of designing a treatment plan with me that does not include medication he consistently just pushes to just take the meds he tried to previously prescribe. That is his answer to what I can do to make myself feel better. I left in tears and called the office immediately after to cancel all future appointments. I will NOT be returning to Dr. Sarwar.
Dr. Sarwar is expert, respectful and empathetic. I would recommend him to anyone..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
