Steven Maffei's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Maffei made me very uncomfortable. I felt like he rushed my appointment. He came in, sat down and immediately ran through his list of questions. He spoke really fast and gave some advice then exited the room immediately to take a call. He never returned. I waited for awhile thinking he was coming back so I could address some concerns and I never saw him again. That was my first and last time at this office.

Dr. Maffei is very professional and kind. I was very nervous and he put me right at ease. He takes the time and listens to questions and concerns. I have multiple foot problems and I highly recommend him.

Exceptionally professional and caring. Staff very warm and attentive— put you right at ease - all go extra mile to ensure proper care and listens well to patients needs and concerns . I have already recommended my daughter to the practice. She too was exceedingly pleased and her treatment most successful that is to say resolved and her PCP was not able to help her. Most effective and kind so I repeat I highly recommend this practice.

my wife called dr maffei's hamilton twp nj office this morning with a problem i was having with a big toe soreness and irritation his receptionist gave me an appointment for an afternoon appointment on the same day. dr maffei immediately diagnosed my problem and treated me right away. in my opinion he and his staff are very good.

Steven Maffei is an awful doctor! His ability to practice medicine should be revoked! He is rude, obnoxious and very disagreeable! I will not refer anyone to his practice and plan to write to the Medical board to let my concerns be known. My first and only experience with him was a disaster. I left his office feeling frustrated and unwanted. Do not give any business to this man.

I wanted to like this doctor so much, but I never got past the front office. The day I arrived, it was pouring rain and I had accidentally forgotten my insurance card. I asked them if I could email the information and they could call the company to confirm and they refused. The only option was to fax it over. He was totally unable to diagnose what I learned later (from other drs.) was a very obvious case of achilles tendonitis. He offered absolutely no suggestions for easing the discomfort--not even easy and obvious advice like wearing shoes with a heel higher than flat, using heel inserts, icing the swelling in the achilles tendon, doing certain stretching exercises, etc. This was not a recent problem, however, and he may have learned and improved a lot since then, but I would never go back to him
