Dr Josephson is very professional Doctor I have chronic pain and was disabled from a bad accident Was airlifted to Cooper hospital Dr Josephson the last 2 years was a godsend. Always punctual for tele appointments his staff always returns phone calls if I have any questions or concerns. I would recommend him to anyone I know

Called a main line to get seen a month later for sever pain. Received a confirmation call the day prior to the appointment saying if I didn’t have any images, there was no point in being seen. Luckily I had 2 year old X-rays. I arrive for my 8 am appointment early. Office doesn’t open until 8. They made multiple patients wait in the cold until 8:06 satellite time. Seemed petty. Once brought in I was sat in a room immediately and asked for insurance, license and co pay. She returned during my exam to hand me SOMEONE ELSE’s private info. They wanted to give me a shot after reviewing 2 year old X-rays. Said it’s quick and takes twenty minutes. I had to wait a month for the shot, totaling severe pain for over 8 weeks, but guaranteed relief. On the day of the shot, I waited 3 hours staring at the surgeon sitting at his desk. After the needle, I was then explained the likelihood of it working, no longer guaranteed. I was given two days of minimal relief. My follow up was a video call, not told to me until I arrived for my appointment. They took my copay and then the call dropped. They never called me again. Pretty awesome.

I've been in severe pain for 7 years. Spinal stenosis, herniating discs, degenerative disc disease and arthritis to name some. I ended up on pain meds as nothing else worked..I had physical therapy, chiropractor, injections and a cervical dissection with fusion. My lumbar spine just got worse in the 7 years. Nerve pain with very little movement. Dr. Josephson recommended spinal stimulator. This has significantly given me back my life. Great dr and office staff.

To start with the front desk seems to me unorganized and confused. I worked for a doctor for years and would have gotten fired for less. I had a pain pump installed which caused noting but confusion and more pain, and I had to dig out the old cane again. Why he didn’t notice I was going downhill I will never understand. He replaced a stimulator, put the new one in, then noticed the old wires didn’t match the stimulator, so I now sit with a 30 thousand dollar stimulator in my hip that doesn’t work. Since I no longer trusted dr Josephson I had the pain pump removed by an other surgeon.the whole ordeal was a nightmare Now I have to get permission from BC/BS to have the correct stimulator installed and to trash a 30 thousand dollar machine. I curse the day I walked through Josephson’s door.

-5 STARS This is the worst experience I have ever had at a professional health care provider's office. I called the main office to schedule an appointment for a displaced disc that is pinching nerves in my neck, sending pain down my arm to my fingers. I was given an appointment a month away and asked for any cancellations, at any office, because I had already been in pain for 3 weeks at that point. Luckily, I was called with an available appointment on May 9, 2017. I was told that someone would call my primary care doctor to request my records. I also called the day before my appointment to be sure that was done-it was not!! I called my PCP and gave the fax number that I was given from your staff member. My husband stood in my PCP's office and was told the fax was sent!! I took a 1/2 day off of work and drove 30 minutes on 5/9/17, arriving 15 minutes early. I gave my paperwork to the receptionist who informed me that you have none of my records and I could not be seen today. She asked another girl, whose initials were on my chart, why she didn't call my PCP-no explanation!!!! No one has any answers!! I called the main scheduling number and they tried to tell me it's my fault for not signing a release-when was I supposed to get the release???? It was never mailed or emailed to me. In fact, it was never even mentioned to me!!!! This is the most hopeless feeling for someone who has not slept, has been in extreme pain, & taking pain meds so they can function at work! Your staff has obviously not been trained to deal with people who cannot wait another day for some kind of pain relief! 7 weeks is an extremely long time to feel constant pain!! To say that I am disappointed at this experience is an understatement. I was referred to this office from someone who was pleased with the care they received and I had hoped for the same. Unfortunately this is not the case. Your staff needs professional training- acquiring records and treating people with compassion should be on the agenda. I will not reschedule with your office but I hope you make the much needed improvements for the next person!
